>>"Wow, in regard to answers...Einstein used the word "lame"? "<<
you do realize this once upon a time, meant like... having a bad leg, like limping, right?
like a horse that had an injury and was limping, was a lame horse.
and that the modern slang definition derived from that...
and I agree with the original phrase, so many people don't get that religion is why and science is how, and they are both useful.
>>"for example his 'God does not roll dice' means 'randomness does not lie at the heart of all things' but in the successes of quantum physics Einstein's intuition was usually wrong. "<<
not being able to percieve the cause does not mean that its random, or that its *all* random.

Albert Einstein said it but he didn't mean a personal God that listens to prayers and judges us - he didnt believe in anything like that.
He meant a sort of pantheistic wonder of the world and appreciation of the complexity all around us where God is a synonym for the laws of Nature that began the Universe - for example his 'God does not roll dice' means 'randomness does not lie at the heart of all things' but in the successes of quantum physics Einstein's intuition was usually wrong.

Albert Einstein.
He became more religious as he aged--he looked into spirituality a lot more the longer he lived.
