If the Ouija board is so evil and scary, why is it advertised for ages 3 and up? Shouldn't it be against the law to sell them that way when little kids can get sucked in to the underworld? OOOOOOOOOH!

just wondering why it is a big deal to non believers. if you know what a true christian is and that we are good people and kind and loving then why care just because we believe God created us. i understand there are some who say they are christians who like to judge and all. and take it to the extream. but there are also those who are not christians who go out and drink and drive and kill people. and you seem to not care about them or what they do. but not liking a christian just because we serve God and believe God created us is to me a dumb reason. we have are belief and you all have your belief just like muslims do and everyone else.

I think he makes himself look bad. And I fear that he will make Muslims look bad, and Pakistan, which is not at all fair to Muslims and Pakistanis.

Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but [they are commanded] to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

My understanding was that part of Jesus' mission here on earth was to have the human experience. How could that be if he never sinned or had kids? How would he know the burden of guilt or the anger of being attacked via his children? Do that really make sense?

Answerers went on and on about it being demonic and opening the door to evil etc. I find the language both dated and alarming. They sound like a bunch of Spanish priests getting ready to destroy the Aztec Codices. Some even attempt to couch their beliefs in scientific terms. All of it is conjecture and all anecdotal.

I'm looking for good sites, or any info you could provide for me, that can act as an aid in further understanding the Bible. Even very basic things would be a great help(where to begin, what parts can be more easily understood, etc.)
Thanks!

I just watched a show on Discovery Health about a baby in Peru born to dirt-poor parents. The baby was born with a birth defect where her legs were fused. Because of the resemblance to a mermaid, the uneducated villagers were convinced it was due to a water demon impregnating the mother. Now, if they had the internet, they'd come into this forum and would be convinced that science was wrong (despite science and medicine saving the baby). Do we see any parallel to what goes on regularly in here?
