We know Saddam did not ask for forgiveness. Secular Scientist have their own religion (science) and it takes a lot of faith to believe in it. But it is antichrist and yes they go to hell.

God's ways are different then ours, but it comes down to our choice if we spend eternity in heaven or hell. If Saddam accepted Christ before he died he is in heaven, and if that secular scientist accepts Christ he will be in heaven as well. Jesus died on the cross for you, for me, for Saddam , for the scientist, for the WHOLE WORLD- He suffered for our salvation. When Jesus hung on the cross in the middle of two thieves, one spent eternity in hell, because he mocked Jesus, the other, who said, "I do not deserve this, but he asked for forgiveness and it was granted. Getting into heaven is not on a scale of how good we are. We could never be good enough, that is what makes salvation so amazing-

People are made sinless for eternity so they can be with God. Saddam could ask for forgiveness, but so could those secular scientists. I don't see how it makes a difference at all.

Interesting that Fish, while professing to be religious, doesn't understand the actual meaning of the word. To be classified as a religion, there must be a belief in a god (unless you think the god of science is truth)
Secular scientists won't go to hell by the way because IT DOESN'T EXIST

God will judge him, and he was a true believer. So we do not know how God will call him to account for his deeds, or whether Saddam repented sincerely enough for forgiveness. Only God Knows
[006:046] Say (to the disbelievers): "Tell me, if God took away your hearing and your sight, and sealed up your hearts, who is there – an ilâh (a god) other than God who could restore them to you?" See how variously We explain the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), yet they turn aside.

Lol that will be very interesting I must say. For a person who has been cruel as an evil dictator to enjoy eternity in heaven while the scientist goes to hell, very funny.

No, people seek comfort. A god that forgives whatever you do is comforting to people. Think about it a serial killer that murdered his parents and raped 6 women can simply repent 1 minute before they stick the needle in his arm and go to heaven. Why would people believe a religion where they lose? As long as you believe in "god" according to the religion, you win.
Again, no I do not believe this is ironic, personally I believe this is just the way the religion was designed.

Anyone who confesses to Jesus that they accept Him as the son of God who died on the cross for their sins, repents of their sins in all sinserity,(God knows your heart) and asks for forgivness, it shall be granted to them.
If a scietist goes to hell, it wasn't because he was a scientist, but because he did not accept Jesus as their personal Savior. Where do you people get this stuff from?

I don't see any irony because I'm not the one making the decisions about their fate. That is God's domain, and I ain't God, so It's not my place to even form a judgement about it.
