That depends on each individual, I know I'm closer to Heaven than I am to hell.

The person who harms others, has no respect for life and commits horrible acts of unkindness is very very close to hell.

The person that loves his neighbour, is unselfish and does everything possible to ease the pain of others and "believes" is close to Heaven.

God Bless & have a safe and
HAPPY NEW YEAR !

From a conceptual point of view they are diametrically opposed, which means they can't be any further from each other. From a physical point of view, hell doesn't exist yet. Hell in the Bible is what is referred to as the Lake of Fire which is for the final destruction of Satan and unbelievers. After the Second Coming of Jesus the Lake of Fire will exist. So in the physical sense, heaven is closer since it exists. This may not be the kind of answer you are looking for. Take care and God Bless.

Heaven: Because it is only a prayer away, but hell is a life time of rejecting the invitations of the creator.
Isn't it sad that we Christians haven't told the unbelieving world how near heaven is.

It depends on where you are. Both actually exist on this planet. Both can be found inside our own headspace. Hell is far closer than Heaven. Look at all that happens on this planet. It's quite easy to realize that hell is where we live. Some are simply too clueless to realize it.

Depends on where you stand.
Some people say their life is hell.

It all depends on your heart. If you have asked God to forgive you of your sins and asked Jesus into your heart then it is close. But if you reject God then you have chosen Hell. Then It is close. Each one is your choice not Gods

They're both just a thought away. So be scared, be very scared. Or, stop being paranoid and just live your life.
