The deities don't care so much what words or language we use, they are more interested in our energy and intent. Humans use words and invocations to focus the energy and intent. If you find an authentic invocation in a language that you don't know, it may not work as well for you. On the other hand, if you lovingly and rhythmically chant the name with the intent of calling your friend, he will surely hear and come.
