I don't know why this occurs, but think about another similiar situation: Women will stay with men that physically and mentally abuse them and their children. Many times, when asked, they will still say how they love that person. They will give excuses for their behavior- even blame themselves! They will also provide examples of how good that person is in other situations.
Doesn't this attitude apply here as well? Some sort of abusive mental state these people are in mixed with their religion..... that is how I understand it....
Obviously, we couldn't know what the condition of his soul is at this point, that is between he and God.

The same reason that a person of any religion that does not believe in the Death Penalty is sad.

Why are some Christians not sad? I mean, it is the 6th (or 5th depending on your version of the Bible) commandment that thou shall not murder. Murder is murder no matter who does the killing.

Some muslims got it good from Saddam though most didn't

Because punishing violence and death with death and violence is exactly the same thing.... the people that killed saddam are no better than he was because no one rose above his acts and changed the way they looked at things... they simply did the same thing he would have done and lent to the perpetuation of his ideals.

to some he had killed their family members just for looking at him, to others, he brought his country up from the Rubble. To many, Hitler did the same thing, modernized and made his country a country worth having pride in.
I can say this though, he was as cool as Ice as he was about to be hanged, or was he?

Regardless of why he was hanged, it's not cause for the Bush Administration to start celebrating, we started looking for Osama Binladen, and ended finding his Father's greatest guilded partner and befallen friend...........

Probably for the same reason that so many Christians think George W. Bush is just great, even though he's responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of people.

It's always the proponents of the "culture of life" who are the most bloodthirsty, don't you think?

Probably because they were the ones who were higher ups in his crew and were making big bucks off him.

No. I don't think he is in heaven. Any religion that says to kill people won't get them there. I am sorry but that is the truth. There is only one way to heaven and that is Jesus Christ.
