no kidding--it's a game made by parker brothers--get over it! It is not a gateway to hell, or else they wouldn't be selling it at Toys R Us with the label "ages 3 and up"!

I know. I answered a Ouija Board question from a 12-year-old kid and, thankfully, they listened to my answer and others and didn't follow the answers that said it was related to demons. I told the kid that it's just a silly game that can be fun to play to see some simple and common brain dynamics where we unconsciously move the device (and others unconsciously follow the lead, so to speak). Others were talking about it being a friggin gateway to demons, etc. Sheesh. 2006 and we still have this garbage. Someone yesterday presented a clear case of the medical condition called 'sleep paralysis' (where the mind wakes during the REM body-paralysis stage, is confused and scared of the paralysis, and projects this fear into a seemingly real form based on one's beliefs). This person's mind had projected the fear as demons wanting to get her. A couple of us tried to convince her that it's a treatable thing but others fed her delusion and told her to get a bible, a crucifix, some holy water, do some rituals, etc. She followed their lead -- sheesh. I just pray that somehow she's ok from all this garbage.

Not all humans are the same. Some are unusually open & receptive to the spirit realm. Ahat you may find archaic may prove helpful to someone of another persuasion.

These are people who believe what their ridiculous religion has taught them. Additionally, people fear what they do not understand and what they cannot control. If a spirit communicates to them through a Ouji board, they feel like they have no control anymore, and therefore believe it to be a door to evil.

I know it sounds primitive, but if you think its all fun I challenge you to play with one for two months every night, one night it might not be all fun and games and youll be making up something like your ouija partner did it. even some Pagans dont like it, you can say what you want but then agian have you really played with one?

Yeah, I know. I think I've explained the ideomotor effect three times already today - and then they just go and ask again. It's kinda depressing.

I agree... with you.
Those people are usually just regurgitating what the preacher told them last Sunday mixed in with a little urban legend..."Here's what happened when my best friend's brother's girlfriend messed with that...etc."

The facts don't lie. When people mess with Ouija boards, bad stuff starts happening in their life.
My beliefs are based on the Bible which tell us to flee sorcery. Nothing you can say will override that. Sorry.
