i am very spiritually opend to things like that-- so is my cousin who's staying over the next wk as we're on holiday. We both decided we'd like to try it. So we bought a board and the other pieces needed--- but we didnt recieve instructions--- i'd like to at least try it once.

Don't do it unless you are an experienced Medium. It cannot be done for fun otherwise you attract the lower entities (bad spirits) and that could be dangerous. If you are determined then I would ask you to ask your Guardian Angel to put a protection of white light around you(you can visualise this) and anyone else joining in and say a prayer at the beginning asking only for spirits of the Light to make contact. Thank them for coming afterwards and do a closing prayer. I am a Medium so I know what I am talking about and I am merely giving you advice to protect and help you. Obviously it is up to you whether you take it or not. Good luck and God bless.

Nothing bad can happen with the Ouija board unless you believe it will, but if you do believe some thing bad could happen with it, then it is almost guaranteed that something bad will happen.
It has been my experience that if you try to use it alone or with someone who doesn't take itseriously, you are very likely to get nothing but nonsense.
But, if you work it with someone who respects it, and is not afraid of it, you can get some really good repsonses from it.
But, it is not a toy, and can be dangerous for some people, so be careful.

Gosh, do each others hair and nails or something. Why mess with the spirit world "just for kicks" anyway?

A ouiji board is like prayer. If you want an answer you'll get an answer but it will be your answer. If you ask for something you may or may not get it; same as prayer.

your first question should be "is there a spirit present?"--after that it's pretty much going with your own judgement, ask it's name, etc.

you just ask a question, and very lightly place your finger tips on it an wait fo it to move...is pretty fun. i did it with my friends when were younger
