i once heard a bible scholar say when the unrighteous die, they don't go to hell.. in fact he said no one is in hell at this time, that will happen on judgement day...instead they go to a place call hedes at the core of the earth. what do you think? (and is it possible that hedes could be an example of being tormented in the grave?)

I already know the answer to the question itself but I'm curious to know if everyone else know how the Bible itself was made and who made decide on the matter what should and what should not be in the Bible.

When was the canon of Scripture established? When I say established, I mean when was the books of the Bible put together and held to be inspired word of God, and who had the authority to made the Bible as it is today?

I am a Chinese and i am living in a Muslim country, "malaysia". I think the difference between the Chinese in China and me is that i am well informed about the JEWS by my muslims friends. They told me everything about the Jews and they sell books about it... I have no hard feelings to the Jews or to anyone, but as far as the history is concern... Jews played a huge role in shaping where the world goes... and i just wonder if China is being targeted by the Jews since China economy is expanding

My worst Christmas was when I was 10 years old, and my mom and step-dad told us we wouldn't be having Christmas anymore, because they decided to become Jehovah's Witnesses, and they don't celebrate Christmas. That sucked. Thank god I was able to move out of the house and get a mind of my own.

To be a priest or a pastor or a religious icon you don’t need any proper education or commonsense at all.
But to be a science person you must have a proper education and knowledge?

If people cannot even come to an anonymous place like Y!A to ask, answer and discuss questions on religion and spirituality without being overly sensitive, cruel and abusing the "report" feature...what makes some of us beleive we can ever "just all get along" for real, in real life?
