I went to my Methodist church Sunday morning, then my husband & I went to midnight mass at the local catholic church. They have beautiful choir voices and a lovely candlelight service & communion which we did not participate in as we are not catholic. It gives Silent Night such a new meaning upon leaving the service.
God Bless One & all this Christmas Day!

We had church yesterday, and had a lovely service, with communion. Our church is very small, so it is like family together singing carols and praising the birth of Jesus Christ.
Today we will see the kids and grandchildren. 4 generations together today.
Merry Christmas to you, blessings in our King.~vicki

Yes, 8am mass. (every Sunday.)
Being Christmas we went yesterday (24th) and today (25th). Very nice service. I croaked along quietly, during the great songs of Christmas.
Merry Christmas to you also!

Yes it was a blessing. We had communion but before we had communion our pastor told us if we had any grievances against a brother or sister that we should settle our differences and forgive.
In scripture this is what stood out to me. That if haven't settle our difference with a bro or sis & we go ahead w/ communion, we are drinking Gods judgement on us...We should really try to cleanse ourselves & ask the Lord to reveal to us whom it is we should talk to and settle our differences. I have pasted the scripture where Apostle Paul writes to the church.
1 Cor 11:23-29
23 For I pass on to you what I received from the Lord himself. On the night when he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread 24 and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and said, “This is my body, which is given for you.[a] Do this to remember me.” 25 In the same way, he took the cup of wine after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people—an agreement confirmed with my blood. Do this to remember me as often as you drink it.” 26 For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are announcing the Lord’s death until he comes again.
27 So anyone who eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord unworthily is guilty of sinning against[b] the body and blood of the Lord. 28 That is why you should examine yourself before eating the bread and drinking the cup. 29 For if you eat the bread or drink the cup without honoring the body of Christ,[c] you are eating and drinking God’s judgment upon yourself.

Traditional people only see the evil side of humans, and are scared to talk about the reality of the divine side.
New Agers only see the Divine side, and are still in denial about facing up to the evil side.
So I'm stuck beteween a Rock and Hard Place. A
Lone Wolf.
