If God exists, He exists whether we believe in Him or not. We don't have any effect on God's existence by whether we believe it or not. So why is it so important that we will actually fight over it sometimes?

My Jewish people and Muslims-try to tell me Isaiah lied or that I misinterpret Isaiah's prediciton.

some say its not Jesus birthday-because no shepherds would be in the fields-yet they brought sacrifices all year and food to Jerusalem-till Messiah fulfilled the needed inocent blood sacrifice for ous sins.
Isaiah 52:13-53verse 12 "He will be exalted. He will first be marred more than any man. He will be the anointed (Messiah) arm of God revealed. All we like sheep have gone astray and the Lord will make to light on Him the iniquity of us all. He will be despised and rejected. He will lay down his life as a lamb to make atonement for our sins...."

I and millions know the Son who was given and is the prince of peace and almighty God as predicted 700bce by Isaiah 9:6 "Unto us a child is born, a son is given, and he will be the prince of peace, God almighty and the worderful counselor."

the bible says it-if it was changeable my Jewish people would have gotten rid of these.

WHY? COZ THEY HATE EVERYBODY HERE ON EARTH... Yesterday my roommate comes in and says that she told the gas station attendant "Merry Christmas" on her way out. He snaps back, "I'm JEWISH!" Okay, this infuriates me. Do most people feel the same? Reason: I would not go to Israel and snap at someone if they wished me a happy Haunnukah. EVER. And Christmas is not strictly for Christians any more, stores EVERYWHERE have decorations up and the music playing, etc. I'm not a Christian but it would never even OCCOUR to me to be offended. What a load of crap. Opinions?

is it true that muslims are allowed to answer salaam from non muslim but only if they didn't said the full salaam. for e.g. "assalamu alaikum" then we can reply "wa'alaikum salam" is it true? anyone has prove from hadith or quraan etc?

I read a local indian newzpaper.It was proudly written that we the hindus drink cows urine and eat its faeces.
And one of the indian heroine worked in a commercial in which she said taking a bath with cows urine and using the cream which has urine mixed in it is very useful.

And a fortune of OLD.
And to help Africa in this total catastrophe of HIV they tell people that CONDOMS cause HIV.
If you give them to people they might get sexual ideas.
DO OH!
These guys ARE RICH/LOADED/INFLUENTIAL!
If they took a third of what is possible to liquidate and bought some pharmaceutical company in South Africa and made the license holders on blocking medication happy with what ever string pope&co can pull the situation would improve more than advice against condoms.

Hi, I am thinking about becoming a Catholic and I was very interested in the Christmas speech given by His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI. He said a special prayer for all the children of the world.

My understanding is that the Pope is God's emissary here on earth, so presumably he must be able to speak directly to God. I mean, if HIS prayers aren't listened to, what hope is there for the REST of us? ....Does this mean that for the whole of next year no innocent children will be blown to pieces by bombs, starved, raped , beaten or tortured?

Or maybe God will choose to STILL work in mysterious ways and allow this to happen.- meaning that he has disregarded Benedict XVI's prayers? ..... Which I would find confusing.

I seem to remember that in the past it was the job of the church to look after the poor, the widows and the orphans. Since the Catholic church is against abortion (and birth control?), shouldn't it be involved in supporting all the unwanted and starving of the world? Isn't the Vatican one of the wealthiest (and most powerful) states in the world? What percentage of their income goes to charity?
