If God exists, He exists whether we believe in Him or not. We don't have any effect on God's existence by whether we believe it or not. So why is it so important that we will actually fight over it sometimes?

It is important that we believe in something bigger and greater than ourselves. It is important that we have spiritual peace to be fully centered in our core. It is vital that we allow one another the freedom and peace to do this regardless of which path we choose.

we are here for God,we are His children,His creation.You said it yourself "if God exists,He exists whether we believe in Him or not" Okay,so if YOU believe in Him and that His Son died for us wouldn't you want to acknowledge such unconditional love and share that with others?Granted there will always be strife in religion but go a step further and let the Spirit show you how awesome He is

God is everywhere! we are just here occupying space and time for the Earth to say ENUFF ALREADY!! it is always good to believe in something-to recognise how great life really is! Plant a tree or write a good song and that will be enough to keep the ebb and flow steady.word!

If you don't believe you will go to Hell.God dose exist rather you believe or not that is why Jesus came to show us the way and to give you a choice.so how important is it to you to spend internal life in heaven or hell.(your choice).and I don't fight over it I believe in Jesus if you make a choice not to know Jesus than he won't know you that is his word.

You question is so Biased its ridiculous. "He exists whether we believe in him or not" that's dumb, He doesn't exist.....I am an Atheist...and to me...a person who is not delusional and irrational then he does not and never has existed. It isn't important to believe in Myths...My life is still meaningfull and productive...unlike the Faithfull I live without fear.
