well an an agnostic i don't have any evidence to suggest that a higher being exists or doesn't exist but if there was a heaven and that did happen then i would have the evidence that i needed and i would be foolish not to accept so in that case i would accept the invitation

I remember the question of " Christians, when you find out that your god is really Satan, will you still follow him?" It was a pointed question.
The answer would end up in a debate. You see, from an actual Atheistic point of view ( and I don't mean these anti-religious group that wear an Atheist tag ) Jesus, God, Heaven, and all those things are nothing more than nice stories. Meant to instill fear and hope into the masses.
In such, they would question if they were really dead. Or are they in a coma having a bad dream. I could go on for a long time, but it would be the same as convincing a Christian that there never was any Jesus Christ.
Best wishes.

Sure, if I knew he was the God. It is really great that you are so certain -- truly good for you / makes you behave in socially acceptable ways - not killing- not stealing - not having extramarital sex.
The reason I am an atheist is because I really don't believe in your Jesus mythology. Why don't I believe....mostly because I read the bible a little too carefully but also because I now realize it is a total cop-out to dope up my mind with religious Ecstasy.

I would have a surprise for him. I went to the Baptist preacher and knelt at his altar and did the special incantation, whereby I can sin and still go to heaven. Jesus has to honor that Baptist thing, cause it's a special arrangement between him and them.
Meanwhile, when many thousands of righteous people who loved God, and suffered and died in the Holocaust are in Hell's eternal torment, cause they had a religion whose God is not Jesus; I'll be in Heaven inspite of my sins and unrighteous ways cause I did the Baptist's incantation. Isn't God great!

Are you trying to imply that Atheists are forced to believe in jesus just because you say so, or are you trying to convert them somehow? Because that's the wrong way to go about doing things.
You must have something against the Atheists. Live and let live. Don't get involved with other people's beliefs because that in itself is wrong.

If that actually happened I suppose I would be forced to reach into my wallet and ask, "OK, how much does the penalty cost? Do I get points on my licence too?"

If he would let me talk with him and could satisfactorily explain all the questions I have about the fallacies of Christianity and the Bible, then sure.
If it turned out that he is, as the Bible depicts, a god (or part of a god) that would kill babies and force women to marry their rapists, then no.

You church people really make me laugh. Your religion is nothing like the religion Jesus had. What a joke.

My answer would be no. I would not want my spirit to spend eternity with the spirit that didnt bother to help me in my life before i died.

Would this be Jesus the son of god, or god the father who is Jesus the son of god, or would this be the father that is the son who just happens to be the son of the father that is the father of the son?
