I feel that every day is important. Christmas Day is important, but so is every day of the year. I'm not going out of my way to make a stance against celebrating Xmas, but this year I've just been so busy as to not get around to making plans. I beleive that the meaning of Jesus can be applied to all situations every day at any time. Jesus wasn't born on Dec. 25 and the date of his birth is relatively insignificant to me. However, I hope that you all have great days anyway. It's a nice thing to spend time with family and friends. Please enjoy your holidays.

This past week, every other question is about Christmas, sure, it's Christmas time, ok, I get it already. But every Chritsmas question I answer, I simply state my people, Alvians, do no celebrate the heathen holiday known as Christmas. We celebrate Alvistide, with a Feast of Alvis, to celebrate the birth of Alvis, our lord. Every time I answer with that, some tree hugging Alvis hater reports me, and I get a damn violation. This is total BS. If Christians can post about their religious holiday, I should be able to talk about mine. I think this site is run by a bunch of dirty Krebs, they killed our lord, and they are always trying to keep us down.
Why does Yahoo, an international site, only allow religious freedom on the three "big" religions and shut people of lesser known relgions get the shaft? This is some freeze dried bullshit on Yahoo's part.

I've known this man for almost 10 years, and I met him when I was 14 while he was much older. In June we started our relationship back up. Sort of. He acts like he loves me and is always either doing or trying to do nice things for me. The problem is I don't know if he's a very good talker or serious. He lives in an apartment building and the outside buzzers do not work (I know, I've been in there when friends called my cell to say they rang it). He also has a pay as you go cell. He told me he was tired of paying for that cell and he wasn't going to buy any more cards. The problem is I have no way to contact him, and since it's been 4 days since we last spoke, I'm thinking he is just a player. Why else has he supposedly lost my number and can't bother to call to let me know he's ok? He is twice divorced and I am once divorced. He has one girl and one boy who are adults now and I have one of each as well who are still babies. He is happy for me at times, but I am still weary

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, does not in any way condone polygamy. If a mormon was to practice this, they would be excommunicated. No question. The polygamists are NOT part of our church. I am a member, and I was married in the temple, and I will tell you right now, nothing like that happens in our church. One husband, one wife. To us, marriage is sacred.

every question I read criticizes, no one is in search of God. It seems that everyone is out to bash his name. For those that fall under that catorgorie, he's got a place for you. Believe that, if you don't believe anything else.

I've seen evidence that it is real . I'd just like to hear the other side of the story . I'm sure someone out there believes it wasn't real and I'd like to hear about it . Don't you people like to question things ? Even the truth .

OK, we DO NOT have our own bible. We read the Holy Bible. We study it, we teach it, be believe in it, as long as it is translated correctly. That is why we use the King James version, because it is the one that has been translated the least amount of times, so the least amount of mistakes from translations over the years. we also use the book of mormon, which is a record of the saints from the northamerican continent. Read it sometime. You would be suprised. And by the way, the events in book of mormon, the main historical events, coincide with the records in the book of mormon, and the lands that are described, locations of cities, ect. all coincide with modern discoveries. But that is not the reason I believe in this church. I know it is true. I prayed about it myself, and fasted, and have gained a testimony of my own. dont be so quick to mock what you dont understand. I challenge everyone who doesnt know the right information, to take a look at our OFFICIAL site, lds.org

Ok a question about the bible.......How do we know it wasn't a crazy person who wrote the bible? It could have been some crazy guy who believed we all need to live the way he believed was right, i mean no one today can honestly say they were there to see Jesus come to life again right, it could have been like Chinese whispers and maybe that is why we have so many gods and churches because by the time the story got around to everyone it was totally different!!!!!

Tell me what you think, do you believe we came from god creating the earth in 7 days maybe monkeys or do u have your own theory?

am I right? I mean otherwise, you'd be off following the anti-Christ.

So, now that Ted Haggard has been exposed for the hypocrite he is, who is next? Surely there's someone out there right now - probably on TV - who is the next BIG scandal waiting to happen. And all good Christians should be able to spot him/her with no trouble. So, who is it?

I have been a christian for many years, and I have just 'felt" in my heart that the bible was true. But recently I have really been thinking about how men in the corrupt church in the past have used the scriptures and had the power to change them for their own benefits. Even if I dont know it for sure...it is definatly possible. So I started having problems with which parts are true and which ones arent. Expecially with tithing, premarital sex and homosexuality. But what Im most concerned with is...it scares me to think Jesus might not be the son of God..This worries me to think this way because I am very concerned with my eternity, and what I teach my daughter. I dont want to lose my faith, but I cant just pretend if my heart and head tells me different. I still beleive that there is a God, and that there still is alot of truth to the bible, i just cant trust all parts and dont know which ones. Please no mean bible bashers reply.

On the Brother Of Yeshua Blog (see http://brotherofyeshua.blogspot.com/ ) it is demonstrted that while Christians claim to rely upon the New Testament, it is the very scriptures they champion that rejects their doctrines of belief as being turned out of TheWay. Where the modern Church promotes the doctrine that they are saved by Grace regardless of the manner they live their lives, Peter warns that: "It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them." Every Christian should ask themselves: How Can This Be??? Christians promote the doctrine that only those who believe can be saved. Yet. both Peter and Paul warn that the opposite is true - that those people who claim to believe, may be worse off after they have come to believe, than before they began to believe. That Christians can't come to terms with this fact, is because they cling to manmade beliefs.

Hi Everyone!! :o)

I hope everyone is OK.

I'd like to wish ALL of you a very...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Even to those of you who don't 'believe'.

You know something?

Christmas isn't JUST about 'believing in Jesus' and celebrating HIS birth, etc. In fact - for some - it's not about 'that' at all. It IS - however - a time for ALL OF US - regardless of what we may believe - to celebrate the idea of LOVE and to appreciate that a LIFE without LOVE - is no life at all.

Thinking of others and caring for others and DOING for others is what the spirit of Christmas is all about.

So I say again..

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

GREAT BIG HUG

Craig!! :o)

PS - How do you plan on making someone's Christmas extra special?!
