well...nearly. doubt defeats me from doing this. so many questions! why can't I just accept it, even though I'm praying, these questions of doubt will never go away. what do I do?

Are you Jewish too-do you like Jesus -or do you as Isaiah said our messiah will be rejected and die for our sins-and make atonement.

as a Jew I rejected Messiah Jesus, now he is my best friend.

I apoligize to the numerous people I offended in my previous question. I did not consider the fact that morals vary from person to person, and that your morals are different from mine. Please forgive me. I know that there are many atheists that are very good people, so i have to apoligize for what I said earlier. But I also know that being a good person doesnt get you to heaven so do not misunderstand my apology to think I am taking your side.

If you understood Hinduism properly, you wouldn't be saying that. I was born a Russian Orthodox, and I declare myself as a Hindu. I have read the Srimad Bhagavad Gita, and several other Holy Books. But why can't people accept that they are wrong about Hinduism being polytheist?

I have given it some thought and I think: The first gift was life and the first Christmas gift was the birth of of Jesus. Several people said it was "love" , a good answer. I think the first gift and the first Christmas gift was wrapped in love and tied together with hope and faith. When we accept all the gifts God gives us, then we have our salvation that was given to us by the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus. His love and grace is a gift when we accept it as a gift. No gift becomes a gift until someone pays for it, gives it to someone and that person accepts as gift. Merry Christmas everyone! James N. I’m asking people who have personally known both Satanists and Born Again Christians. If you don’t know for a fact that the person was a Satanist don’t bother giving an uninformed opinion.

Can a devout Muslim be friends with Christians and Jewish people?

I mean a true friend. Not just friendly with them because you may work in the same office with each other and you do lunch once a week as a group. But true friends, where your kids play together, you watch the superbowl together, etc.

There are a lot of rumors about Islam -- like a Christian is not welcome to Islamic religious services, etc. (There are others.) If you could dispel the top untruths for me that would be appreciated.

I think both religions are extremely rich. I am Catholic, but I respect and admire a lot of the beliefs and traditions of Muslims. But I think there is a lot of misunderstandings between Christians and Muslims.

Okay, I know the Bible says that we should not be unequally yolked. Does that nix any mixed faith relationships (platonic and otherwise) in the bud? I mean close friendships, not just aquaintances and superficial things like that.
Anyways, I've read an article that said that Muslims are only allowed to be friends with a nonMuslim for a certain amount of time and then if that person doesn't become a Muslim they have to stop being friends with them or kill them or something. Now, I've met several very kind Muslims (which is why I'm asking here). Is that made up?
I'm asking not to make people angry or anything, I'm really wondering.
So, Christians please explain the Bible part to me and let me know if it's okay for me to have friendships outside of my religion. Muslims. . . I don't know, I'm not attacking you, I'm just asking about something that I've heard.

According to a scientific show that was actually about the Three Wise Men, it describes, with evidence, that the wise men found Jesus on Dec. 25th and he was about 9 months old by then, and that he was born around March 18th. If we go by the star that showed the wise men how to find Jesus, he wasnt born in Dec.
