Religion is not the answer, there are many and they all have been established on the doctrines of men. Even Christianity has been changed by the influence of people. God actually wants us to have a personal relationship with Him, like your best friend. When you first met you wanted to find out more about them, and the more you knew you wanted to know even more. Right? OK then, meet Jesus, He is the person that died for you because He loved you so much He didn't want you to be separated from Him. He made the way for you to be free from confusion, free from condemnation, for you to be saved from the curse of sin and death. If you accept Christ, and His death and Resurrection and have faith (believe) that He did this so you can be forgiven you will be saved. To find out more read the Bible I suggest the 4 gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and the book of Romans. If this seems overwhelming try at least John chapters 1-3 and Romans chapter 8.

The feeling of having the presence of God inside of you is incredible, there is a freedom that has no comparison. Soon you will know this feeling, and you will be confident of who Christ is in you. God bless you in the name of Jesus Christ.

Keep praying and maybe search for a different religion, maybe you believe in god, just not the one that is being taught to you, I can tell you that the presence of god is an indescribable event, I can also tell you that it is possible to always have it inside you, I won't say what religion I am, because I am not prosilyting, but I know its true, I had to go through some other religions and doubts first though

You can believe in God for sure! I mean just look around you. Where did all that we see around us come from? There are too many details to nature for it to have just happened. If you ever doubt, why wouldn't you. So many people attack the idea of God that anyone would doubt some time or another. Psalms 19:1-3 are great verses. They tell us that creation speaks to us LOUDLY that there is a God who made all this. Evolution is not believable. Just look around you at nature, you will be built up in your faith! God is real, NO DOUBT!!

I'm walking in His Spirit and not mine. I know it is right when I have total peace about a decision. I ask for favor in traffic and it is given to me. The same is true for a parking spot, as I pull in someone is pulling out even when the parking lot is full. I prayed for a pancreas and kidney for my daughter on dialysis and within a week the doctor called to tell us they had a donor. Many, many other situations. I feel His presence in my insides. It is total peace. I sleep like a baby at night. I trust Him with my children. I trust God. He will speak to you and you will yearn to hear His voice again. He awakens me at 3:00 a.m. to pray for friends and family. I like praying at this time of the morning.

Ask God in prayer tonight, Father in Jesus' name please let yourself be known to me. Lord, I want to know you. Lord help my unbelief. Amen

Get a King James Version Bible or NIV New International Version and read the Book of John in the New Testament. Or read the Book of James or 1 Peter or II Peter, these are real short chapters and can be read very quickly.

How a man cannot believe in God, when he knows God is true?
How a man knows that God is true and cannot believe in Him?
This is really a confusing thing.
I suggest that you read again the Holy Books on the Internet to get a clearer idea about believing God, about knowing and loving Him. Then, you will know how to pray and how to recognize the divine guidance.
Faith is not a vague imagination, but it is a bright light in the heart.
Pray for your success.

The presence of God is not a feeling. It's an acknowledgement of the truth of the gospel. It's accepting the extraordinary becuase God is extraordinary. It's knowing that His power is limitless and without bounds even to the extent of absurdity (in our so-called modern mind). It's measuring the "truths" of this present world with the truth of God's word. It means giving up conventional wisdom concerning science and secularism to adopt a philosohpy and way of life that is God-given and God-breathed through the power of the Holy Spirit and obedience to His word. We don't want to see it because our sinful hearts and minds despise it. Only the Lord is capable of opening our eyes when we seek him in earnest. Only He decides the time when this occurs. My only advice to you is to continue to seek His truth and pray without ceasing. Faith is the hope in things unseen. You can't prove it beyond a shadow of doubt, yet you trust in it anyway.

Look you either believe or you don't. If you do, go pray and it will be OK.

If you don't, stop worrying. It really sounds like you don't and are just a little frightened. It really isn't that hard to get over the left over fear. I know there isn't a hell and I think it is funny when people tell me I am going there.
