Isaiah showed the fulfillment for Moses commanded blood sacrifice for our sins=LEVITICUS 17:11 'THE LIFE OF THE FLESH IS IN THE BLOOD, AND I HAVE GIVEN IT TO MAKE ATONEMENT FOR YOUR SOULS.

IF you dont have a blood atonement for Yom Kippur, and the Passover-your not spiritually a Jew-

Isaiah gave the fulfilment "He will be exalted. First he will be marred more than any man, and lay down his life to make atonement for our sins. He will be despised and rejected.

Are you Jewish too-do you like Jesus -or do you as Isaiah said our messiah will be rejected and die for our sins-and make atonement.

as a Jew I rejected Messiah Jesus, now he is my best friend.

He spoke from heaven-Revelation 1:1, 3:19&20, & 19-22nd chapters too on Daniel 12:2 hell aborance forever and the joy of heaven,
Revelation 3:19&20 "Jesus speaketh, I love you repent from your sins and let me in to forgive you and be your friend."
I prayed and asked him in

now what do I do-I helped 2 others to JesusOK?

Just talk to Jesus. Don't give up being Jewish. You are now considered a Messianic Jew. I am a Christian and love Jesus with all my heart. I wish at times I was Jewish. I love the Jews because He was a Jew. I am so glad you have invited him to be your friend. Still practice the feasts, they will be more meaning for you as a Messianic Jew. I have gone to Passover meal and it was really meaningful. I loved it. I have gone in the past for two years in a row. Keep on walking with Jesus and keep on listening to Him. Others will see Jesus in you.

well, congratulations if that is where your spirit led you.

But I want to point out that you have misunderstood that verse about blood being for atonement. It is NOT saying that you have to have blood to get atonement at all. Read it in context, with your mind open. All it is saying is the reason for not eating blood - it is because the blood is the part of the animal that atones for sins. This does not mean that blood is REQUIRED to atone for sins. It merely means that when an animal is used in sacrifice, it is the blood which is the part that atones.

If blood was required, then there are many inconsistencies in the Torah. Because, it says that one may offer a cake made of flour for a sacrifice. No blood there.

And Hosea explains what to do in those "many days" when Israel will be without a sacrifice. It says to pray. "Offer in place of bulls the fruit of your lips." That is, you pray for forgiveness, and God will forgive. No blood is required.

Think about the story of David's sin with Bathsheba. The prophet Nathan came to him and pointed out his sin, after which David felt true remorse. IMMEDIATELY God forgave him, before he even finished his prayer. It was the remorse in his heart which affected the atonement. There was no blood offered.

Why would God be so cruel as to require something or someone to bleed and die before he is able to forgive? Is God so incapable of just accepting a sincere heart?

I'm NOT Jewish. I'm a religious studies major, and I read tons of books about the Bible, religion, and I have analyzed the Bible for myself as well. I know some Hebrew. I can tell you that scholars today - Christian ones included - will admit that the verses in the Jewish Bible traditionally thought to be referring to Jesus, are NOT indeed, referring to Jesus at all.

Let me start it by helping you. Jesus was the party called Lord (not lord) from Genesis-Malachi. The Jews and the Christians both have the '2 or more witnesses' principle; (Jews Deut.10-20; Christians Matt.18:16, 2 Cor. 13:1). After you grasp that; email me if and when you wish.

The Old Testament is only a history book. Everything changed when Jesus Christ came to earth and was crucified for our sins. The two commandments in the New Testament are how we should live our lives today.

You might want to read the Jewish New Testament, translated by David H. Stern. It uses Jewish terminology throughout, and so makes more sense to most Jews than other versions of the New Testament.

What a wonderful rich heritage you have. To know the God of the Old Testament and now to receive your Messiah. You are one of the chosen and much blessed people in this world. I am a Christian and love to hear Jewish people who have accepted Jesus because of their understanding of the OT. There must be others in your city, I know years ago I used to listen to a Christian Jew on the TV on Sunday nights. Check out your city and hook up with others with your faith. We have a Rabbi coming to speak at our Church next week and I am most eager to hear him. God Bless and may Christ richly bless you.

How fortunate you're! Jesus replaced right into a Jew. without Judaism there could have been no Christianity. What many Christians lack is an information of the persons who have been chosen to be the persons of his Son. I now and back think of it unhappy that maximum of Jews nonetheless look ahead to one that has already come. yet i think of, which incorporate your historic past, you already know better than maximum Christians understand. Jesus reported, "Ye have considered me, and yet ye have faith no longer. Blessed is he who has no longer considered me, and yet believes" I won't say "God Bless" through fact he already has.

I agree with the ones above who urge you to get plugged in with other believers at a Bible-preaching church and get to know the Jews for Jesus program too.

First off God bless you and you are doing it right now. Your testamony alone will lead people to Christ, with the help of the Holy Spirt that lives within you. Hold fast to that faith no matter what people say.
