I apoligize to the numerous people I offended in my previous question. I did not consider the fact that morals vary from person to person, and that your morals are different from mine. Please forgive me. I know that there are many atheists that are very good people, so i have to apoligize for what I said earlier. But I also know that being a good person doesnt get you to heaven so do not misunderstand my apology to think I am taking your side.

Forget it, I try to make up for the anger I've caused and all I do is make more people angry. I'm telling the truth when I say I did not mean to offend anyone. But apparently I cant accomplish anything on here so I'm logging off.

You are doing the right thing for apologizing. You cannot please everyone, God does not want to please everyone. Just be in God's team and we will win.Just be careful with words. We are all humans. Try your best, if we mess up, God is totally capable of fixing it.

It sounds to me that you have been so religously indoctrinated you cant even see the way you are speaking is condescending.
Believe in your religous dogma, fine, but dont assume you understand human nature as a result of reading the bible.
Atheist can forgive, murder, love, lie and can tell the truth. Christians can murder, forgive, steal, abuse, lie, learn, change, seek, and love also
However, an atheist may be more inclined to desire to see some evidence of your sorrow(actuall change). A christian may just accept a sad face and a big fat "Im sorry".(which we know is often times not really a sorry at all)(and no not ALL christians are like this)

You don't know if Atheists forgive or not? Of course they do. You don't have to be a Christian to be forgiving. If you believe that "being a good person doesn't get you to heaven", that's your choice, although I don't understand that statement. I believe that being a good person makes you just that...a good person, who cares about how his/her actions and statements affect others. For me, there is no heaven, but that doesn't change what's right and what's wrong. Anyway, apology accepted, and Happy Holidays.

Apology accepted.

Try to read about the "White Throne Judgement" btw, it seems that your Bible has a different opinion than you about whether or not good deeds get a person to Heaven.

I don't usually take offense from people who are ignorant in their knowledge of the world. Next time you ask a question, maybe you should think about what you are saying before you put your foot in your mouth.

Yeah, you enter heaven by "grace" not by being a selfless, kind individual doing all he can to diminish human suffering, I know. What kind of "god" worth his salt would invoke a system where THAT was the rule? Child rapists with grace? C'mon in. Atheist charity workers? Burn forever!

Keep it, please.

It's OK, you've already buried yourself with the one you pray to. Be an example, do not judge, love they enemy, etc. etc. Done deal, if there were a heaven, you ain't getting in now!

*Clears throat*

SCREW YOU and your apology. Apologies NEVER end in the phrase BUT. When they do, they are insincere. So, your apology is meaningless and hollow. Congrats. Assuming that Christians are the only ones capable of forgiveness demonstrates further ignorance.

You continue to offend even in your apology.

Why would religious people have a monopoly on forgiveness?

It doesn't matter if you are sorry if you still don't understand why you were wrong.

ok, I'm not an Atheist, but I just wanted to say that "OF COURSE Atheists forgive!"
