I know exactly on what picture you mean. I saw it in 1998. It's nice, yet it can not be a place that God is preparing for His children because it is written in 1. Cor. 2:9:
"But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."
The shape of the object that is taken by photo has some resemblance of the city. It has three edges, two sharp edges on both ends and one raising a bit near the center, but not exactly on the center. And it's does not conforms description of the Holy city, New Jerusalem as found in the Revelation chapters 21 and 22.

Not sure. In reality, Heaven is another dimension that exists on the back side of the heavens above us.
As the prophecy of Isaiah 34:4, tells us. And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.
At the Baptism of Jesus in Matthew 3:16, we see the heavens were open; And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
In Acts 7:56 and the stoning and death of Stephen, we have Saul whos name was latter changed to Paul after his conversion who records seeing; But he (Stephen) being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
And said, Behold, I see the "heavens opened" and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.
Also, in Revelations 19:10 at the return of Jesus as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, we see the heavens above us are opened; And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
This is according to the Bible and there are more scriptures references.

Perhaps you shouldn't eat the mushrooms growing on your lawn.
