I'm asking this to watch the statistics. It would be interesting to see a certain religion come up a number of times. Not to disrespect it though! It's curosity only.

Most religions, I guess, apart from Christianity. In the sense that I haven't really studied them - I have the general outline of what Islam, Hinduism, and a hint of what Buddhism teaches. But to say I understood these religions woulde be rather pretentious.

Scientology. I know very little about it and by what I do know, it makes me wonder how anyone can follow it. It could very well be that I am biased against it because Loony Cruise did such a good job at making the religion into a joke, but perhaps I need it explained to me from a rational person to see a better side of it.

Christianity. I was brought up with it but I still don't get it. Well I suppose I sort of understand the religion itself even though I don't believe it. It's more that the people I've been surrounded by don't seem to act on what they preach and that confuses me.

the only basic differences in one Religious Belief System and another are the NAMES they refer to GOD as and the differences in the various Rituals and Ceremonies they use to Adore, Praise, Honor, Worship, Pray to and Petition, Thank, Etc. Etc. GOD. GOD is to big to be in only one place and there are many paths and ways to get to ones destination. one can walk, ride a bike, a motorcycle, take a plane, a train, a bus, a taxi, etc. and still arrive at their destination. getting there is the important thing -- not how

I don't understand any regligion. Since ALL "religion" is man made to suit their own needs and desires. Don't get me wrong, i believe in a higher spiritual power which is called, God, Allah, Jehovah, and numerous other names, but religion was concocted to soothe peoples guilty conscience and to try and brain wash and control certain populations.

because I am an atheist, and these christian psychotic bunch of fools have the power. Other than that, as an atheist, I dont care if people have religion, and I have no reason to study any other (except maybe Islam).

i believe that i understand the ones i have taken time to study
i have some more to read up on though
but if i dont understand it , then i havent read enough about it
and just because i understand something , doesnt mean i agree with it
but at least i can see where that person is coming from
