and weddings. I like to read and study the Bible and then I go to a Convenant Church but I am still a Catholic. I need to work on my faith. Today I read in the book of Matthews that the jews asked Jesus to make a miracle in front of them at that moment, and Jesus said (something like this) hyppocrats are you that need to see to believe..........and that made me think of it. As I was not into religion when I was a child, how can I become more serious in my faith?

I know it is no use saying this because I cant change the past and I have to accept the reality.
I have been severely depressed since 16 and it has given me horrendous pains. It didn't stop there. While coping with the pains from the severe depression, I got into using porn/mb to dull pains.
People say God never gives you more than you can handle. But everyday is so painful, unendurable to live with severe depression and lust problem.
In all honesty, having just one of the 2 problems is enough battle to deal with. Having to fight against both of them is just driving me insane and crazy.
I am tired of struggling, suffering, not being able to even lead normal, ordinary life.
I know I can only do so much. I hope God shows miracles or just ends my suffering for good. Because I feel like I tried all I could with patience, endurance, determination. Right now, I am out of courage, motivation, strength.

How do you define tolerance? Logically, all religious beliefs cannot be true because some religions are mutually exclusive. Therefore, some religious (and non-religious) beliefs must be wrong. In our society, are we supposed to be tolerant of all beliefs, even those we don't agree with? I am thankful that I have religious freedom, and don't want to give up my freedom, and wouldn't impose my beliefs on others. I respect those with different beliefs. Yes, I am a Christian, thumbs up or thumbs down. I don't mind when non-Christian religious objects are displayed on public property, so why does it matter that a Nativity scene be displayed on public property? Consider it an art form. Non-Christians, Spiritualists, Athiests, Agnostics, as well as Christians (hope I didn't forget anyone) can celebrate Christmas. Children can open presents under a Christmas tree and experience joy. What is the big deal? Help me with this delima.

im not a huge fan of it myself [love sausages though] so if its based on a religeous belief what is it. ive heard that jews dont believe in christ, if thats so it cant be a connection with legion [casting legion out and into swine] so why. this is not a racial attack [or otherwise] i just want to know why.

Satan offered all the nations of the world to Jesus in the Garden. Then Satan must have been thrown down to the earth prior to Jesus being born? I've also heard that he was thrown down to the earth in 1914 at the beginning of the 1st World War. Which is true? I am confused on this. Because out bio department is teaching evolution, astronomy, and ancient civilizations, the christians kids think they should have to listen to 'lies in the class room" They say that diosaur bones rock formations made by god. They also say that 95% of astronomy is false because the world is only 6000 years old. And they say that ancient human civilization never existed and that god placed the evidence there to test peoples faith. What the hell is the matter with this people. Why do they act like some alien cult from another planet? These kids are causing all types of problems in school and everyone wants to kick all their asses. What should we do?

...using quotes from the Bible, when the person they are debating doesn't believe the Bible? Are they too dumb to see that arguing the Bible when the other person doesn't believe the Bible presents a weak argument? Surely, a true Christian (a strong Christain) should be able to convince a non-Christian that God exists and is wonderful without resorting to weak Bible quotes, right? Because the quotes are weak, old, and make no sense to those who don't follow the Bible. It's a dumb argument.
