Satan offered all the nations of the world to Jesus in the Garden. Then Satan must have been thrown down to the earth prior to Jesus being born? I've also heard that he was thrown down to the earth in 1914 at the beginning of the 1st World War. Which is true? I am confused on this. You guys are just wonderful for helping answer these questions. Thanks!

allow me to help you, Satan offerd everything to Jesus when Jesus walked through the desert for 40 days and 40 nights (where we get lent from) Satan was cast down into HELL not the earth but Hell, before anythting was created, this happend while Satan was still an Angel called Lucifer. He questioned God's greatness and challenged God, some Angels agreed with Lucifer but alot of them did not. There were also those that waited it out to see who won the battle/ war and then would go with the winning side. When Lucifer and His followers lost, those that did nothing were banned from Heaven as well. Satan tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden by offering her the forbiden fruit of knowledge. (the apple) When she sucomed to the temptation she took the fruit bit it and then seduced Adam into having a piece. (thats why the lump on the man's throat is called an Adam's apple. but not why they have it. dont know that answer) Satan was never banned back to Hell during WWI either. whom ever told you that was gravely mistaken. no offence to them. hope i've clearified your thought pattern

It might be somewhere around when man got written language.
We know 6000 years ago, Egyptians had Hyroglyphics. This is a language that man has not fully decoded today.
This was before the Hebrew language came along.
This is the only "tree", that I can see, that the figurative Eve, supposedly ate from. They lived in the garden of Eden.
The Egyptians were cultivaters, and when they had learned to harness the Nile Delta, they became up to that time, the greatest civilization on earth.

God threw Satan out of heaven because he was a liar and deceiver and was no longer welcomed there god allowed Satan to continue to exist so that he could settle a vital issue that Satan raised in the garden of Eden which was basically that humans only served god for what he could give us and that if we had some form of suffering in our lives we would turn against god, god allows Satan to cause suffering so that he can show him that even with suffering people will still remain faithful to him so once this vital issue is settled Satan will be destroyed along with all the suffering.

You have asked a big question,however just checking our history alone will show how world events changed drastically from 1914. Are u sure you are confused?And if U are there is much to learn on that subject. An important point here is the difference this time he has no access to heaven again.

Satan has been on earth since before man, when he and 1/3 of the angels fell. The earth belongs to him until he is destroyed.

Satan fell long before man...he was never "booted" out of heaven, he has free pass to the throne room of the Almighty to come and go as he pleases. if you dont beleive that, read Job.

Satan left GOD's domain when ADAM WAS CREATED. I'm not sure the exact date as to when it happened; it's like trying to find the exact date of when the first living organism came to be on Earth!!?

I'm so glad you asked this question! Many, jews and christians do NOT know this answer.
Satan was thrown out of heaven right after he tempted Adam and Eve and not before like many think.
Satan was a guardian angel in Eden!
Now many times in the old test there are like double meanings to passages.
This passage from Ezekiel appears at first to be written about a king but if you look it's all about Satan. Was the king an angel? no.
Ezekiel 28:
1 The word of the LORD came to me: 2 "Son of man, say to the ruler of Tyre, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says:
" 'In the pride of your heart
you say, "I am a god;
I sit on the throne of a god
in the heart of the seas."
But you are a man and not a god,
though you think you are as wise as a god.
3 Are you wiser than Daniel [a] ?
Is no secret hidden from you?

4 By your wisdom and understanding
you have gained wealth for yourself
and amassed gold and silver
in your treasuries.

5 By your great skill in trading
you have increased your wealth,
and because of your wealth
your heart has grown proud.

6 " 'Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says:
" 'Because you think you are wise,
as wise as a god,

7 I am going to bring foreigners against you,
the most ruthless of nations;
they will draw their swords against your beauty and wisdom
and pierce your shining splendor.

8 They will bring you down to the pit,
and you will die a violent death
in the heart of the seas.

9 Will you then say, "I am a god,"
in the presence of those who kill you?
You will be but a man, not a god,
in the hands of those who slay you.

10 You will die the death of the uncircumcised
at the hands of foreigners.
I have spoken, declares the Sovereign LORD.' "

11 The word of the LORD came to me: 12 "Son of man, take up a lament concerning the king of Tyre and say to him: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says:
" 'You were the model of perfection,
full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.

13 You were in Eden,
the garden of God;
every precious stone adorned you:
ruby, topaz and emerald,
chrysolite, onyx and jasper,
sapphire, [b] turquoise and beryl. [c]
Your settings and mountings [d] were made of gold;
on the day you were created they were prepared.

14 You were anointed as a guardian cherub,
for so I ordained you.
You were on the holy mount of God;
you walked among the fiery stones.

15 You were blameless in your ways
from the day you were created
till wickedness was found in you.

16 Through your widespread trade
you were filled with violence,
and you sinned.
So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God,
and I expelled you, O guardian cherub,
from among the fiery stones.

17 Your heart became proud
on account of your beauty,
and you corrupted your wisdom
because of your splendor.
So I threw you to the earth;
I made a spectacle of you before kings.

18 By your many sins and dishonest trade
you have desecrated your sanctuaries.
So I made a fire come out from you,
and it consumed you,
and I reduced you to ashes on the ground
in the sight of all who were watching.

19 All the nations who knew you
are appalled at you;
you have come to a horrible end
and will be no more.' "
