The reason that I know that God exists is that he has proven it time and time again to me. When I was pregnant with my 1st child, I live in a homeless shelter from my 5th month of pregancy until my 8th month. My parents would not help me out in ANY!!! way, and the father of the baby contiually promised that he was going to take the baby from me as soon as it was born, even offered to pay me $2000.00 to,"just sign away my rights." Guess what, I didn't do that, and I didn't ask ANYONE here on earth for help, was embarrassed to tell anyone that I was living in a homeless shelter, then one day, a man who was a regular at the resteraunt I was waitressing at watched me walk home without my knowledge, (a poor old man). By the time that the baby was born, I was in housing, had the apartment fully furnished, and all the clothes that I needed for the baby, most of the stuff was others peoples trash, the couches, TV and crib and kitchen table, etc; but I believe God provided it all for me.

...yet British politicians - and most of the people they represent - avoid talking about religion ("We don't do God", as a few have said); whereas American politicians usually find it necessary to be regular Church-goers and do well if they end speeches "God bless America"?

Ok first I'm Jewish and YES I shouldn't be on the computer tonight Chanukah and worst Shabat (Friday night Sabbath your not supposed to use electricity Oh WELLLL!) Dont tell anyone. My own theory is that if he could disprove the holocaust it would provide him with two answers;

1. It would prove to him and his idiotic followers that Jews are capable of mounting a world wide conspiracy and would give credibiliy to the idea that as some Muslim extremists advanced that they were responsible for the 9/11 attacks. Also credibility that Israel is a BAD country that should be wiped off the face of the earth to save the world,

2. It would pave the way for a Muslim Messiah to come and cause Islam to spread all over the world. I suspect that he believes from a religious viewpoint that the Moslem Messiah is prevented from coming by the Jews and by discrediting them in major way he could justify using nuclear weapons to destroy Israel and than the Muslim Messiah could come into Jerusulum.

and they say they live the way of the Lord, but are freagen hypocrites?? I am a Catholic, but ONE thing I will NOT do is say one thing then then do another. Who is anyone on this earth to judge anyone else?? Leave it to God, correct?? As far as I am concern we all bleed blood. I ask this because of some so called "Christian" woman is bashing other people just because they are different from my 360 page.

No disrespect intended, I'm just curious.
I understand that you believe Jesus died for your sins. But say he was shot in the face for your sins... would you wear a gun around your neck? You know how many people have been shot to death?
Isn't there a better symbol that could have celebrated his life instead of his death? It seems pretty morbid to me to use an ancient execution method on a necklace.

Man are there ever a lot of people out there trying to really play like Christians are a bunch of no-mind morons. Seriously! Is this necessary? We're real people too. I find these attitudes really hurtful and - wait for it - intolerant! Oh yes! I've yet to read anything so rude and hurtful toward any other religion and I'm just wondering why Christians get this special treatment.

So, my question is - why is it OK to be intolerant toward Christians when everyone expects Christians to ante-up all the toleration we can muster toward everyone else? Seems like our rights don't matter... we'd better just stand aside. I'm getting a leetle tired of it.

Why so rude? And if this wasn't an anonymous board and you met me on the street and knew that I love Jesus (maybe you spied the little cross I wear around my neck), would you walk up to me and say "hello you brainless idiot". Why? What's the point?

Someone in a different question, when asked if they thought that it was creepy that god was watching them all the time responded:

"Not a bit, I am glad that God sees everything that I do.
How would I receive any rewards if He never saw me do anything."

Is that what it is all about? Is it an eternal suck-up just hoping god will notice you when you are being 'good'? How exactly does that promote a true morality? If you are being 'good' because you are either living in fear of 'god' or you are hoping for a reward, then you aren't being good because you feel it is right, you are doing it to benefit from it or avoid punishment?
If you are not acting altruistically then you aren't actually being 'good' you are just going through the motions.

As some people consciously choose to follow Satan, what does he provide people that they don't get from following God? Preferably some Satan followers can explain their point of view as we don't always get "both sides of the coin". And how can someone analyse a point of view unless all can voice their opinions. Thanks in advance!
