100% Catholic. Just not "Roman" Catholic.

No Protestant "subtractions" nor Roman "additions" to the Faith Once Delivered.

The Creeds and the Councils of the First Seven Ecumenical Councils of the Undivided Church, prior to 1054 A.D.

Nothing more...nothing less.

I am a Traditional Anglican. That's what we believe.

It is the Church of England. Here they are called Episcopalians. Like a Catholic priest, an Anglican priest does the same sort of thing in the Anglican Church. They are able to marry and some are women, unlike the Catholic priests. Some Anglican priests who have already married and had children have converted to Catholicism and were able to keep their families. They are far less the 50 throughout the world, I believe.

The Anglican Church was formed when King Henry VIII broke from the Roman Church because he wanted a divorce and the Pope would not allow it. That was the final straw but there were other issues as well, including but limited to, the idea that the Pope is considered the monarch of the Roman Catholic Church, especially back then. How could a subject of King Henry be loyal to both?

Yes, Anglican in another word for "Church of England."
It also is currently being used for the conservative wing of the Episcopal Church.

The Church of England broke off from the Catholic Church in the 1500s when King Henry VIII got mad at the Pope for a variety of reasons.
After the Revolutionary War the "Church of England" in the USA didn't want to be called the "Church of England" anymore (what with the war and all...) so it changed its name to The Episcopal Church.
For a very long time in almost all the important issues the Episcopal Church was pretty close to the Church of England. They even recognized the Archbishop of Canterbury as their head. In the past few years though the Episcopal Church here in the USA has gotten very liberal, especially in the area of homosexuality, and the Archbishop of Canterbury (back in England) does not approve. Many of the more orthodox Episcopalians don't approve either, and they are breaking away and leaving the Episcopal Church. However they don't want to leave the traditions of the Church, so they revived the old word and call themselves Anglican to show they back the Archbishop of Canterbury and the conservative side of the church.

Anglican = C of E (Church of England). The American version is known as the Episcopal Church (this is the church that I was raised in, and to which I still belong). The Anglican church broke off from the Roman Catholic Church centuries ago. There are several different branches of the Anglican and Episcopal Churches.

Anglican is most often Canadian, same as Church of England in England, and Episcopal in the USA. There is High Anglican which is very close to Catholic, about as close as you can get and still be protestant. Regular Anglican is fairly liberal and liturgical. Priest hood is very similar to Catholic.

Yes, it is the Church of England, and it's a Protestant faith not a Catholic one. Read a biography of King Henry VIII. You will learn a very interesting religious history.

I always thought it was the church of England.

Ah the church of England. There's nothing like basing an entire religion on the desire to toss out your wife and bone other women.
