Man are there ever a lot of people out there trying to really play like Christians are a bunch of no-mind morons. Seriously! Is this necessary? We're real people too. I find these attitudes really hurtful and - wait for it - intolerant! Oh yes! I've yet to read anything so rude and hurtful toward any other religion and I'm just wondering why Christians get this special treatment.

So, my question is - why is it OK to be intolerant toward Christians when everyone expects Christians to ante-up all the toleration we can muster toward everyone else? Seems like our rights don't matter... we'd better just stand aside. I'm getting a leetle tired of it.

Why so rude? And if this wasn't an anonymous board and you met me on the street and knew that I love Jesus (maybe you spied the little cross I wear around my neck), would you walk up to me and say "hello you brainless idiot". Why? What's the point?

Yeah, I read that link to the string about atheists... you have to realize that is probably someone who is TRYING on PURPOSE to make Christians look like idiots! Don't take everything at face value and don't just people as a group. I thought we are all supposed to be learning not to paint a whole group with one brush and to respect one another!!!

Greetings. I am a believer in God, his Son, and his Holy Spirit. However, I find I am hesitant to call myself 'Christian'. The Christians that I know are the most hateful, ignorant, bigots that ever walked the face of the earth - and you can't say that that is one or two. Try 200 or more.

Hello. I am The Pope and I went to a 'Christian' school where they told me that my Catholic friends were going to go to hell. I spent the next six years pissing them off and standing up for my Catholic friends when they got tired of doing it for themselves. How is that Christian, and how is that tolerant.

How are you, as a Christian, spreading the love of Christ - his loving teachings - by being hateful back to the atheists, Muslims, and agnostics ( no offense to those three groups) when you have been told time and time again to turn the other cheek? How is this question even turning the other cheek?

I understand that people are not tolerant of Christianity, but when you stop and look they aren't of Muslims either. They aren't of Atheists. There are some pretty hateful questions about every religion floating around out there, so take that into consideration.

The point of this board being anonymous, the questions being so hateful, and the people being so narrow minded is because people put up with a lot of religious crap all the time. They have to have someplace to go, and some people to agree with them. Sometimes, when no one agrees with you, when you have to keep quiet, when you can't voice your opinions - it is a living hell. Welcome to the real world. Try to be tolerant of others, kind, courteous, and loving - and you might just be surprised about what you get.

Have a very happy Christmas.

Salutations,
The Pope

What is it that Christianity/Christians have given the world? You people have stood in the way of progress at every turn, and I can't imagine where we would be today if it hadn't been for you. Christian women are submissive and ignorant of what it means to be a woman. To answer your question, I would never call you or anyone a brainless idiot, but I would however call you an ignorant fool.

I have seen Christians on here and in real life be rude and intolerant toward others. I've even seen them be rude and intolerant toward other Christians!! I'm an Episcopalian and I have had people tell me I'm going to hell because of the church I belong to. I've seen Christians on here put down, Muslims, Jews, and Atheists. Everybody needs to learn to be tolerant. Being tolerant isn't the same as accepting. You can be tolerant of someones beliefs–in other words you let them have whatever beliefs they want to have. However, you don't have to accept them–just RESPECT them.

I totally understand the way you feel. In today's world people will do and say anything to make themselves or their group look good. But really they are only making themselves look bad. Not trying to pry on anyones religion but there are so many religions in this world today,. Right? Out of all these religions in this world, there is still only one JESUS!! We can't do anything about the other people that are hypocrites, but pray for them. That's all that we can do to help them understand God and his word!!

Guilty people live in constant fear, the sad part is they don't need to.Josephs brothers were example to this after their father Jacob died. They thought now Joseph would avenge them. You can read this event in Gen.50:14-21. It's a beautiful story and worth the efort to read.God Bless !

You're not the only ones. Muslims get a lot of brutal comments. Probably the most brutally crude comments out of all religions mentioned here.

Have a good day.

Christians do the VERY same thing to atheists and agnostics. Stop victimizing yourself, it happens to everyone, no matter what your beliefs. I am so tired of hearing how Christians are the victim of such intolerance. Why should you care? I mean you're going to heaven to live forever, according to you, anyone who disagrees with you is going to hell to suffer forever. Isn't the promise of Heaven enough to get you through this horribly unjust life?

While it is unfair for someone to be rude to you for being Christian, people of all religions face intolerance. Don't feel that you are being singled out.

sometimes Christians appear intolerant and therefore others do so in return,
no offense but there are Christians who openly act like their religion is the best and that offends people

They have nothing better to do with their time than to try to disprove God
Sad really when you reflect on how closed minded they are
especially when they say that we are Mindless Robots
Ask them a question about God and they all come up with 1 answer
Ask us a question about God and you will get many different answers because we interpret the Bible differently

so who is the Mindless Robots
