Since you haven't received any answers from real priests you might consider the statistics. The Catholic church is steadily losing both church members and priests and nuns. Since the clergy in practically every other Christian church are allowed to marry along with Jewish Rabbis it seems logical that this would be helpful as an option to the Catholic clergy.
