There are so many of them out there, there's no way one god could take care of ALL of them at the same time. Maybe our god is off taking care of another galaxy now and that's why we haven't heard from him since Biblical times?

Dear Yahoo Answers Users!
I want to know if there is any real practical material about voodoo to study or can someone help me out in learning that. For those who say its not real, at least I believe in this.
Please if someone knows real material about this, can share the links.
Thanks in advance...

This is a question for Christians, not an opportunity for more Christian bashing. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. I was just reading another post and looking at the answers from numerous Christians who said that they don't believe that dinosaurs and people existed at the same time. Are these only the ones who haven't studied the Bible, or do they have a legitimate reason for saying this? I just don't see how that doesn't contradict Genesis. Are they just backing down when any random person comes forth with shaky "evidence" that it couldn't have happened? Or is there a legitimate Biblical theory on it? Honest question.

Some atheists seem like they are trying to provoke God to show self. I actually think most atheists are more spiritual than many of the so called religious. What do you think?

I know this question has been covered before. But I do not understand the Churches thinking. Gay People, Man and Woman are born that way. They did not decide later in life, I think I will be Gay. GOD, made them that way in the first place.. .

In one of the scriptures it states that Jehoachin was 18 when he began to rule, the other states 8. This is not an attempt to nit-pick, it's what appears to me to be something that violates the law of contradictions. Is the bible we have nowadays prone to error in other sections as well? Is it possible that over centuries of time, errors were written into the bible by mere mortals? What happened to the divine guidance in the meantime?

Jesus never spoke of dying for our sins. He spoke of loving thy neighbor. Paul's letters are frequently cited by gay-bigots. I doubt Jesus would have agreed with them in that respect.

Why are they such hypocritical child abusers?

I wonder if Jesus was "whipped" by Mary or Joseph, ah..what a nice Christmas thought.

ANd...If Jesus was "perfect" where is the proof of this since a good 20-25 years of Jesus' life is undocumented and missing from the Bible.
Is this a Christian assumption?

I'm writing a piece on the Christian and Islam faiths. What I need to know is how much in actual facts you know about each faith? Did you learn that from someone who believes in that faith, from media reports,or by finding out yourself? Please be respectful in answering, because I want to know what America thinks about this subject, but I dont want anyone to be offened by anyone else's answers. I want someone to learn something by what i'm doing, and i want that something to be the truth.

(1) Did prophet Muhammed really say that?
(2) Is not that considered as discrimination against women who can not get pregnant?
