Okay, I know that puritans came here, but they didnt found a country. The country was founded with the constitution and it was founded by DIESTS. Why do we say we are founded on christian principles? They knew if they didnt throw in christian principles that the public wouldnt go for it, same reason why they threw in provisions for slavery.

Especially since the plan was for him to be killed because he said. He could have said he was God long before they killed him and they would have nailed him up even sooner.

I'm sure you assume God is synonymous with these things, but the Old Testament says differently. Which is really worth devoting yourself to? If you become a representative of these ideals, you are genuinely better than the fictional character "God." Doesn't that sound nice?

Okay, why would people worship to an effigy of W? First of all its tacky, second its creepy. Is he supposed to be a prophet alongs the lines of Jesus? Personally the only thing I think Bush and Jesus have in common is that both are getting crucified

right now i have been raised a Christian, but i disagree somewhat with some of it's teachings. so i'm more of a Christ Follower than a Christian. my family is half Catholic and Half Lutheran. i'm not sure yet if i will just change denominations. i do accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and i know that he came to die for us on the cross. it's just...i disagree with some of the teachings.

You have a concept of God. You think he is perfectly good and just and loving. Is it goodness and justice and love that you VALUE, or is it just coincidence that this is what God likes? Do you really follow out of fear? Ask yourself, if God acted immorally, would you act morally and challenge Him, or would you act fearfully?

So I was reading up on the Left Behind: Eternal Forces video game that was recently released... It is a nice Christian game in which the Rapture has occurred and you are left to convert those that are still around - or kill them if they refuse...

Wholesome Christian fun, right? Apparently... Just look at the reviews:

"...a positive moral message." - AOL.com WTF? positive morals in killing people who refuse to acccept a religion?

"...here is a game we can heartily recommend..." - Beverly LaHaye, Concerned Women for America What exactly are these women concerned about? The lack of violent video games in America? I bet these are the same beatches that complain about sex in video games...

"...a bold step in mainstream gaming." - Game Daily Bold step? I kill people daily playing games...whats so boldd and new? Oh ya, the additional of religion into the mix...

"...it's perfect content for a video game" - Associated Press ASAP

Jehovah Witnesses why do you say that Jesus was an angel when scripture says he really wasn't. Why do you say Jehovah never died when scripture says he did? It sounds to me that your teaching a false gospel.
The Son Exalted Above Angels
(For to which of the angels did He ever say:
“ You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You”?
And again:
“ I will be to Him a Father,
And He shall be to Me a Son”? Hebrews 1:5)
(17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. 18 I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death. Revelation 1:17-18)
My wife used to be a JW until she was shown the Truth. The truth is John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
Why the sex abuse of kids? My wife was a victim. Why the false prophecies?

Thus i became the most famous hated man on the planet because a quebec ha (convict molester by the way) who was my arch-enemies(also a molester as i was told) captain got into a WAR with Me.
also God=h=cutoff because each side sums up to eight when added up. And to be a freind to God is to become an enemy to the WORLD means yes God=Cutoff because both sum to H.
it means also
UNIVERSAL= U IV I VERS AL that NI ie IV I is God. That is how i found out i was God, the LORD.
And everything in your english bible now makes sense. more followers in english then hebrew or jewish. Hewbrew spelling word for God is numbers. like germans tattooed numbers even on Jehovah, the other temple of God.

Paul said that he would rather be absent from the body and be present with the Lord - which means that when we die physically,
even though our physiacl body dies - our soul ( our conscience)
is taken straight to Heaven. We will receive our new body when Christ returns . We do not have to go through unknown mysteries of death which the unbelievers will have to go through. They will have to wait in the sleeping state for the judgement day - and then the punishment for their disobedience to their creator God who set down just a simple choice to believe in the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ who brings the only way of Redemption from eternal death . Our faith in God's promise gives us Eternal Life with all the Saints in Heaven where we shall never die or suffer sickness again - as we will inherit a New Heavenly Body like Angels. Only a God who is Eternal can give us this gift.

Seek ye God while He may be found.

that part meant
God=G+o+d= 7+15+4= 26= 2+6= 8= h
cutoff=c+u..=...= h
so eventually true God=cutoff
why? because since that is true then this is also true.
angel=evil=rat
and those evil angels cutoff the God who is
God=God Most High=God of WAR=God named within WAR=angel of death=Angel named within DEATH=H=cutoff

and thats because american propaganda says the hells angels rule over canadian angels and angels rule over TODD.

But TODD a part german would rather die then cut off his own finger for any one of a lesser race. they may capture and torture Me for it but i won't give in Cause I really am the GODFATHERR that outranked you all at one time.

Seriously? I just want to know what one might ask God to do instead of The Holy Ghost. I'm not really interested in scripture and won't read answers that refer me to the bible, I just want the simple executive summary of the FUNCTIONAL difference between the two. Would I go to one for forgiveness and the other for revenge? One for a cure for to this cold I have and the other for a cure to all colds? Without a concrete definition it really does sound like twin gods (in fact, even with a definition it sounds like twins).

And please do try to avoid answers like "one does this and the other DOESN'T" because I'll almost guarantee I don't do it either and that doesn't make me divine.

Oh yes, I'm well aware they are both products of peoples' imaginations, that doesn't mean they don't have definitions.

If it is the pattern of electrical charges in the brain, could that pattern be replicated somewhere else or on someone else after death?

I mean according to logic, that pattern could be replicated for all eternity in many different places - Could this prove a higher power or does this prove no higher power.

Can laws that govern everything be the higher power - because laws of gravity and relativity are unexplainable?

Does logic not prove we do not know why these laws are laws (which ironically they are not laws because the do not work the same on micro and macro levels)

Help!?

We all suffer throughout life...some way more than others. I beleive in God because I just know. Like, I was about to die, but a voice in a light told me it was not my time yet. I recovered, and yes, I still live, but for what? To suffer MORE? Really, I don't get it. God brought me back from the edge of life and death just to have more pain? What's the meaning.
