Evil within the people kills. A true relgion, helps to remove that evil from the minds of people.

Evil can come forth only through evil thoughts!

True Love, Joy, and Peace comes from beyond the mind from the ONE we call GOD!

If you honestly look at religion, you see that it's main idea is of peace. It's man who warped it.

Say, for instance, a dj on the radio says, "I think (so and so) should just die" and someone goes out and does the deed. The dj was only kidding, but now he's held accountable for planting a suggestion in someone. They use him as a scapegoat.

The same is true for religion. Someone takes a passage they like to justify a means, and runs with it. Religion gets blamed, when that was not the message at all.

Quite blaming religion for man's short comings. I can probably take something from MOther Goose, warp it and use it to cause a war. Does that make Mother Goose bad, or me?

Interesting idea. Slightly controversial . Its not going to be easy to get a precise count for the cusades. For the inquisition part there are precise records. For witch hunting some records as well.

Don't confuse religion with human nature. There's also the works of atheists like Stalin and Pohl Pot. And what about Abortion laws that have led to the deaths of ten of millions? BTW, how was the Civil War, the bloodiest war in American history, a religious war?

Wow, somebody is living in the past. These were all misinterpretations of what people thought the Bible was teaching them. Have you ever made a mistake? Ever? Now take something you are passionate about and get together with people who are passionate about the same thing. What if you are wrong? Would you like to be judged and mocked for the rest of you life? Would you like your children and grandchildren and your future generations to be mocked and persecuted for the rest of their lives? Last time I checked it was Christians being chopped to peices and shot in the middle east. You can choose hate, I choose love. Blessings to you.

I have not seen the commercials in question. A reasonable estimate of the number of people murdered in the name of religion is a few hundred thousand.

Its easy to blame religion for most of those, but most were really about greed, control, power, etc.- the same basic reasons people have killed each other forever.

Wow, you linked slavery and the Indian wars to religion? Hmmm.... That's interesting.

How many American wars have been "religious" wars? Just wondering....

You weaken a slogan and branding if you try to use it for more than one concept - just leave that one to the cigarettes and try coming up with something of your own.
