Hebrews 1:2-4 is a sledgehammer to trinitarian ideas about the so-called equality of God and Christ.
(Hebrews 1:2-4) [The Father] has at the end of these days spoken to us by means of a Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the systems of things. 3 He [Jesus] is the reflection of [God's] glory and the exact representation of his very being, and he sustains all things by the word of his power; and after he had made a purification for our sins [Jesus] sat down on the right hand of the Majesty in lofty places. 4 So [Jesus] has become better than the angels
So then, does the very next verse at Hebrews 1:5 suddenly become some shining beacon for trinitarianism? Far from it!
The fact is that Hebrews 1:5 actually contains strong proof that Jesus *IS* (and was) an angel. That verse asks two questions to which any bible student then and now knows the answers. Here is every word of that verse at Hebrews 1:5:
(Hebrews 1:5) For example, to which one of the angels did he ever say: "You are my son; I, today, I have become your father"? And again: "I myself shall become his father, and he himself will become my son"?
THE CLEAR ANSWER TO BOTH QUESTIONS ('Which angel?') IS THAT THE ANGEL IS JESUS!
This scripture is a strong argument to PROVE that Jesus *IS* an angel, albeit the Archangel. Sincere bible students are interested in the verses which answer the straightforward questions of Hebrews 1:5:
Q: To which one of the angels did God ever say: "You are my son; I, today, I have become your father"?
A: To the angel Jesus, the Christ!
(Psalm 2:2-12) High officials themselves have massed together as one Against Jehovah and against his anointed one [footnote; "Christ"]... Let me refer to the decree of Jehovah; He has said to me: "You are my son; I, today, I have become your father..." And now, O kings, ...Kiss the son
Q: To which of one of the angels did God ever say: "I myself shall become his father, and he himself will become my son"?
A: To the angel Jesus, God's chosen King!
(2 Samuel 7:11-14) Jehovah has told you ...I shall certainly raise up your seed after you ...and I shall indeed firmly establish his kingdom. ...I shall certainly establish the throne of his kingdom firmly to time indefinite. I myself shall become his father, and he himself will become my son
Here are three connections (in addition to Hebrews 1:5) showing that Jesus Christ is the same person as the archangel Michael:
1. Note that Jesus the Lord calls with an archangel's voice:
(1 Thessalonians 4:14-16) Jesus died and rose again, so, too... the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel's voice
2. Note that BOTH Jesus ("The Word") and Michael are spoken of as leading the angelic armies; can there be two such leaders who do not even mention one another?
(Revelation 19:13-14) the name he is called is The Word of God. Also, the armies that were in heaven were following him
(Revelation 12:7) And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels battled
3. Note that BOTH Jesus and Michael return and stand up at the same time; this is during a time of distress (or tribulation) "such as has never happened before" which seems quite clearly to be a one-time event.
(Daniel 12:1) And during that time Michael will stand up, the great prince who is standing in behalf of the sons of your people. And there will certainly occur a time of distress such as has not been made to occur since there came to be a nation until that time. And during that time your people will escape, every one who is found written down in the book.
(Matthew 24:3-21) the disciples approached him [Jesus] privately, saying: "Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?" And in answer Jesus said to them: "...All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress. ...But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved. ...for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world's beginning until now, no, nor will occur again.
Clearly, the bible indicates that Jesus is Michael. The bible never uses any plural form of the word "archangel". The very term "archangel" means "chief angel"; who but Jesus would be chief above the angels?
Thank you for the opportunity to show the truth that Jesus is different from Jehovah God and *NOT* part of any so-called trinity.

Jesus is called to have the archangel's voice in 1 Thes 4:16. See also Mat 24:31. If that voice is not from Jesus and only from another angel, then it won't have an effect on resurrecting the dead. The archangel also means "chief angel" so Jesus as the Son of God is the Chief of all angels. Job 38:7 called the angels "morning stars". In Rev 22:16 called Jesus the BRIGHT morning star. If Jesus became human, can he not become and assigned as the archangel, too? The Son, Jesus, is definitely exalted above angels, because not only Jesus is an archangel but also have become the Prince of Peace, Mighty God, Eternal Father. (Isa 9:6 - notice the use of future tense) . The Son shares the title of First and Last with the Father but it doesn't make them the same person nor the same God. Artaxerxes was called "king of kings" in Ezra 7:12 but Jesus and Artaxerxes are not the same person nor is Artaxerxes is Son of God.
Jesus being the "First" is qualified, he is the First from the dead (Col 1), the beginning of the CREATION by God (Rev 3). The Father is never described as those , when the term First, beginning, and Last are used.
Jesus, the Son of the living God, is the one who died, not the Father. Jesus is the WAY to the Father. The way is not the same as the Father. Jesus acknowledged that his Source of Life is the Father.See John 5:26.
I know one sexually abused person who was helped by the elders in the congregation. He was thankful for the help he received. There's a lot of articles in the Watchtower and Awake that help parents and kids prevent abuse as much as possible. Have your wife and his parents read and applied those articles before? Truly, no matter how careful you are, you cannot 100% make sure that your child is safe, because we are living in the last days. I'm sorry it happened to your wife, but she should not blame all JWs for the problem when only one person did that. So does she also blame Jesus and the Father, Jehovah , because they allowed that bad thing to happen to her?
If the person is abused, he can go the elders in the congregation, and it was even announced in our meeting that it is the abused right to go to the police if he wants to.
It is good to know though that in the near future all wickedness and all the pain and troubles that the abuse has caused will be eliminated by God.

It is very clear to me that you have a hidden agenda. I see you got some really great scriptural support. The fact that the concept of the trinity is so blatantly bogus is so clear, however I suppose that was a tad disrespectful to your beliefs; and I certainly would not want to do that, not like what you done to us.
As far as that dreadful poster is concerned; slander indeed!! We know that Armageddon is coming, we see bible prophecy being fulfilled, so much has happened since then, However, no one knows the day or the hour. Matt. 24:36 Even though we are encouraged to keep that day in mind, mainly so we don't become spiritually asleep. Are main reason for serving Jehovah is because we love him, we are not serving a date we are serving Jehovah.
And as far as "alleged sex abuse", that is not tolerated, Parents being encouraged to take legal action, because this is in fact a crime. And the perpetrator would be disfellowshipped.
We are truly living in the "last days", we are seeing some nasty things in the world, there's no denying that. We know that only God's Kingdom will do away with the unrighteous conditions that we see in the world. Isa. 9:6,7; Dan. 2:44

I disagree with you --we follow the Bible implicitely and know that all of it is inspired by God. We are the only faith that is following Jesus' command to witness to the entire inhabited earth about Jehovah's Kingdom, before the end comes and with the help of Jehovah's holy spirit and his angels we will continue this lif-saving work until the Great Tribulation begins.
We are no longer a part of Babylon the Great, the world empire of false religion. We heeded the warning in Revelation and broke all ties with her. We do not worship the"wild beast" or it's image. We have the worship that is pure and undefiled in the eyes of the one true God, Jehovah and we acknowledge and give honor to our reigning King, Christ Jesus, the Son of the one true God.
We do not take up arms against anyone for we have a love and respect for life. We are peaceable with all mankind.
If everyone followed this as we do, the whole earth would be at peace, for wars would be no more.
When Jesus died, he was truly dead and his heavenly Father was very much alive and ruling the universe.
Jesus said that his true followers would be hated, persecuted and killed and we have endured all of those things, yet we continue to preach to others in over 235 lands. We truly have faith accompanied by works.

You couldn't be more wrong luv. First off, you are aware that many religions don't believe in the concept of the trinity. I am looking at your last scripture, actually none of them prove your point. Jesus was Gods son and has been exulted to his right hand. This is something I did deep research on--Jesus always gave credit to his Father and never professed to being equal.
Phil. 2:9; 1Cor. 15:28.... John 14:28..........Remember Jesus bought back what Adam lost, if he was the supreme being this would not of made sense. "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom thou has sent forth" John 17:3, KJV,
I can debate you, but that would negate the purpose, you seem to have your mind made up. But I personally did my own homework and find that the concept of a triune god is not scriptural. I do think that people need to do their homework and draw their own conclusions, rather than believe what was passed down to them.
If that happened to your wife, that is horrible--that is by no means tolerated in the christian congregation, as well as legal action being taken; because it is indeed a crime against children, and truly heart-breaking.

While all Christians are commanded to spread the truth, the way you're asking this question is harsh. Jehovah's Witnesses need as much love as everyone else. I have had experience with this religion, and I don't think we need to go around just pointing fingers and accusing them of teaching contradictory. If you would personally like some information about Jehovah's Witnesses visit effectiveevangelism.com or google Jehovah's Witness beliefs to find out why they teach what they teach.

that's because of the fact the Watchtower tells them what to think of. @Yankee Fan (fanspoman, Butch, Grub, etc.): have been you telling the fact once you wrote some months in the past: Pay no interest to the ramblings of "Jorge." he's been trolling those boards along with his Anti-JW cult acquaintances for an prolonged time now, and he's used countless distinctive names contained in the technique: Wink Winkleman, Tobias, The Tron, Animal, Poto, Joker, and others. His job is to attempt to make his Anti-JW cult look as ignorant, buffoonish, hate-crammed and illogical as achieveable. In different words, have you ever continuously used the handle of yank Fan? Be honest now. Jehovah is gazing you!

Excuse me my friend, perhaps you did'nt read (Heb.1:1,4) first
"God, who long ago spoke on many occasions and in many ways
to our forefathers by means of the prophets,(2)has at the end of these days spoken to us by means of a SON,whom he appointed
heir of all things,AND THROUGH WHOM he made the systems of

Where to begin? (this is just a brief answer to your question, time and space won’t allow a more compete answer)
Angel means messenger, Was or Is Jesus a messenger of God? The very title of “The Word of God” denotes that Jesus is the foremost messenger of God.
Jesus isn’t just an angel, 1 Thess.4: “15 For this is what we tell YOU by Jehovah’s word, that we the living who survive to the presence of the Lord shall in no way precede those who have fallen asleep [in death]; 16 because the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel’s voice”
(Jesus is called an archangel, and as an archangel he is above his partners, he is better than the angels (in general).
Notice in Hebrews Chapter 1 (which you quoted) he became better than the angels)
vs 3: He is the reflection of [his] glory and the exact representation of his very being, and he sustains all things by the word of his power; and after he had made a purification for our sins he sat down on the right hand of the Majesty in lofty places. 4 So he has become better than the angels, to the extent that he has inherited a name more excellent than theirs.
(the exact representation of his very being, agrees with the scriptures that say Jesus is the image of God, read 2 Cor 4:4 and ask yourself who is blinding people so that don’t see Jesus as the image of God?)
vs 6: he is the Firstborn (in English that means the first to be brought to life, created first. This agrees with your comment that Jesus is begotten.)
vs 9 You loved righteousness, and you hated lawlessness. That is why God, your God, anointed you with [the] oil of exultation more than your partners.”
(His God exulted him above his partners, who are his partners? It’s not God because the context says “his God”)
Hebrews 2:
11 For both he who is sanctifying and those who are being sanctified all [stem] from one, and for this cause he is not ashamed to call them “brothers,”
(Christians become Christ’s brothers, are you saying we become brothers to God?)
Your understanding of Revelation is built on the idea that God can die.
You will have to use more scriptures to prove this to me.
Yes Jesus died, and for that I am very grateful, But where in the scriptures does it say “God died for my sins”?
Think about this, The bible says David is King, Solomon is King, Jesus is King, Jehovah is King, so based on your reasoning, David, Solomon, Jesus, and Jehovah are all the same person, because they all are kings.
----------------------------
Judges 3: 9 And the sons of Israel began to call to Jehovah for aid. Then Jehovah raised a savior up for the sons of Israel that he might save them, Oth´ni•el the son of Ke´naz, 15 And the sons of Israel began to call to Jehovah for aid. So Jehovah raised up for them a savior, E´hud the son of Ge´ra, a Ben´ja•mite, a left-handed man.
------------------
Jesus is a savior, Jehovah is a savior, Ehud is a savior, Othniel is a savior, So with your line of reasoning, All these are God?
The truth of John 14:6 is that if we want to get to God we must not stop at Jesus.
“Except through me!” Jesus is the gate in the fence of sin that is keeping us from Jehovah, his God, his Father.
----------
Rom 15:5 Now may the God who supplies endurance and comfort grant YOU to have among yourselves the same mental attitude that Christ Jesus had, 6 that with one accord YOU may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
--------
Are you glorifying the God and Father of Christ Jesus?
As to your wife, I am sorry she experienced the reality of this world, those who comment such things will have to face Jehovah and His judgment.
As to false prophecies, Jehovah’s Witnesses have never claimed inspiration nor infallibility, therefore there have never been any prophecies, whether true or false.
Notice Jeremiah’s definition of False Prophet at
Jer. 23: 24 “Or can any man be concealed in places of concealment and I myself not see him?” is the utterance of Jehovah.
“Is it not the heavens and the earth that I myself actually fill?” is the utterance of Jehovah. 25 “I have heard what the prophets who are prophesying falsehood in my own name have said, saying, ‘I have had a dream! I have had a dream!’ 26 How long will it exist in the heart of the prophets who are prophesying the falsehood and who are prophets of the trickiness of their own heart? 27 They are thinking of making my people forget my name by means of their dreams that they keep relating each one to the other, just as their fathers forgot my name by means of Ba´al.
Baal when translated into English is Lord, Which Lord do you worship and serve?
Who today have made people forget the name of Jehovah?

Jehovah's Witnesses have changed the bible to fit their needs. They feel above the law when it comes to child abuse. Here's how they work:
The Jehovah's Witnesses deal with child abuse according to principles they interpret from the Bible.
They stress the need to "abhor what is wicked", but after applying two very specific verses of scripture.
First, if any allegation is made against someone, that person must confess or there must be two witnesses to the act for it to be proven:
"No single witness should rise up against a man respecting any error or any sin... At the mouth of two witnesses or at the mouth of three witnesses the matter should stand good." (Deuteronomy 19:15)
Secondly, there is an admonishment against taking legal action against a fellow Jehovah's Witness.
Members are encouraged to keep matters resolved within the congregation and not go outside to worldly courts for assistance:
"Does anyone of YOU that has a case against the other dare to go to court before unrighteous men, and not before the holy ones?" (1 Corinthians 6:1-11)
Internalised
The Jehovah's Witnesses do not, in any of their policy letters sent from the headquarters to the elders of each congregation in the world, tell the elders to report immediately any allegation of child abuse to the police or other authorities who are trained to investigate such claims, unless they are required to do so by law.
They are however required to report the matter to the "Bethel" legal department of the Jehovah's Witnesses headquarters in that country.
The local elders themselves must carry out an investigation, interviewing the victims and the alleged abuser.
They are not provided with any training in how to deal with child abuse.
Official procedure
Two elders meet separately with the accused and the accuser to see what each says on the matter.
If the accused denies the charge, the two elders may arrange for him and the victim to restate their position in each other's presence, with elders also there.
If, during that meeting, the accused still denies the charges and there are no others who can substantiate them, the elders cannot take action within the congregation at that time.
This is because of their adherence to the Bible passage in Deuteronomy: "No single witness should rise up...".
However, even if the elders cannot take congregational action, they are expected to report the allegation to the branch office of Jehovah's Witnesses in their country, if local privacy laws permit.
As well as making a report to the branch office, the elders may be required by law to report even uncorroborated or unsubstantiated allegations to the authorities. In this case, they are expected to comply.
Additionally, the Jehovah's Witnesses publicity information states that the victim may wish to report the matter to the authorities, and it is his or her absolute right to do so.
More false prophecies;
All the literature before November 1995 spoke of the generation that was 10-15 years old or born during 1914 would not pass away before Armageddon.
The Watchtower 1968 May 1 p. 271
Thus, Adam's naming of the animals and his realizing that he needed a counterpart would have occupied only a brief time after his creation. Since it was also Jehovah's purpose for man to multiply and fill the earth, it is logical that he would create Eve soon after Adam, perhaps just a few weeks or months later in the same year, 4026 B.C.E. After her creation, God's rest day, the seventh period, immediately followed. Therefore, God's seventh day and the time man has been on earth apparently run parallel. To calculate where man is in the stream of time relative to God's seventh day of 7,000 years, we need to determine how long a time has elapsed from the year of Adam and Eve's creation in 4026 B.C.E. From the autumn of that year to the autumn of 1 B.C.E., there would be 4,025 years. From the autumn of 1 B.C.E. to the autumn of 1 C.E. is one year (there was no zero year). From the autumn of 1 C.E. to the autumn of 1967 is a total of 1,966 years. Adding 4,025 and 1 and 1,966, we get 5,992 years from the autumn of 4026 B.C.E. to the autumn of 1967. Thus, eight years remain to account for a full 6,000 years of the seventh day. Eight years from the autumn of 1967 would bring us to the autumn of 1975, fully 6,000 years into God's seventh day, his rest day.
JW leaders claim that their organization is, "the only organization on earth that understands the 'deep things of God'!" (The Watchtower 1973 July 1 p. 402)
They call their propaganda "true religion" and say of true religion, "its teachings must all be in harmony with God's word." (The Truth that Leads to Eternal Life 1968 p. 130)
The official position is well expressed in The Watchtower of 1931:
The Watchtower recognizes the truth as belonging to Jehovah, and not to any creature. The Watchtower is not the instrument of any man or set of men. No man's opinion is expressed in The Watchtower. God feeds his own people, and surely God uses those who love and serve him according to his own will. (November 1 p. 327)
Furthermore The Watchtower (1943 July 1 p. 202) says: "Jehovah God is therefore the only Supreme Court of interpretation of His inspired word." The subsequent page adds:
To such remnant of faithful servants of Jehovah God Christ Jesus has entrusted all "his goods", or earthly interests of the Kingdom. This does not signify that the faithful remnant or society of Jehovah's anointed witnesses are an earthly tribunal of interpretation, delegated to interpret the Scriptures and its prophecies. No; Christ Jesus the King has not entrusted that office to them. THE SUPREME COURT STILL INTERPRETS, thank God; and Christ Jesus, the Court's official mouthpiece of interpretation, reserves to himself that office as head of Jehovah's "faithful and wise servant" class. He merely uses the "servant" class to publish the interpretation after the Supreme Court by Christ Jesus reveals it. (p. 203)
The "Creator's promise" regarding the 1914 generation has already been discussed. That "promise" is also "Jehovah's prophetic word":
Jehovah's prophetic word through Christ Jesus is: "This generation [of 1914] will by no means pass away until all things occur." (Luke 21:32) And Jehovah, who is the source of inspired and unfailing prophecy, will bring about the fulfillment...
(The Watchtower 1984 May 15 pp. 6-7)
From statements such as these it follows that if Armageddon by 2000 AD fails to occur the "Jehovah" of the JWs will be exposed as a liar.
