Your question is not clear at all.
How can you say you are not trying to offend any while asking such a thing? Prophets are very well respected by Muslims, you will NEVER find a true Muslim who bashes any Prophet. This is cannot be said for others who bash at Mohammed (pbuh). Why drag the Jews into it?

It could be a correct observation despite the fact that in The Quran, Usury is an act of waging war agaist Allah and His Messenger. Perhaps the comparison with The Jews is on the basis of Usurious nature, that is, exploiting a fellow human. Religiously, the Jews like Muslims are warned against Usury, in their Holy Books.

No, this is unfortunately not true.
The prophets you are probably referring to - Adam, Noah, Moses, Jesus etc are all covered in our Holy Book the Quran.

Appreciate that you are being courteous in your questions. Says a lot about your good upbringing.

Not sure what 'jews of the east' refers to? why dont you ask those who used to mention this phrase to you?

Salam
the muslims have not 'replaced' any prophets..........
infact it is compulory for a muslim to believe in all the prophets.....
by name only a few are mentioned in the quran : Adam, Noah, Moses, Jesus, Abrahim, Muhammad and a few more (Peace be on all of them).

but we are required to believe in all of them.
