No Atheism is a cry of "There is no God" it is the only rational choice for people who believe in things that are confirmed as true and not some myth about an all powerful all seeing deity that sits on a cloud being big and important!

Uh, as it is reasonable to base belief on evidence, then what is the problem with atheists saying something like "god can prove me wrong by showing up!" That is a "cry" for sensible evidence as far as I can tell. If someone claims an dragon is in their garage, it would be sensible for an adragonist to provoke the other person into showing them the dragon.
As for spirituality, that is an extremely broad term that can apply to almost anything.

Atheism is a cry for common sense!
How long are people going to kill each other in stupid God concepts that there is no evidance to prove that one group is correct or not!
Human history is full of senseless violence in the name of a God that it is sad that people still hold on to the brutal ideas! There are far more examples of why it is unlikely that there is a God then reasons that there is!
Why is it unlikely there is a God?
1. Starving Children
2. Rape
3. Child abuse
4. Violence toward women
Here are four big issues that no God has ever raised one finger to help with. If this God cares so much for human suffering and human existance why doesn't he do anything to help stop some of these issues?
Or is this God only good at sitting back and being an armchair quarterback or back seat driver. Quick to judge and condemn but unwilling to do anything about it!
Get real there is NO GOD!

Agnosticism yes, atheism no. Atheist are typically closed-minded to any evidence of God. It takes a massive amount of logic and reason to pull them out of the head trip. I've heard of many atheists that turn over after years of intense philosophical and theological studies (myself included). Then too I've known a few of the pious to turn over after years of the same studies. Agnostics are altogether different though. They actually wait for a sign in either direction.

One can be spiritual without seeking a deity.
I myself participate in rituals that lead to out of body type experiences, and in these experiences, I find myself in the presence of Fenrir Wolf of Norse mythology. The encounters are deeply personal and intensely emotional.
However, I understand that the rituals (either, pain, or, exhaustion and hyperthermia) lead to an altered brain state that basically causes hallucinations. I do not believe Fenrir is real.
Does that make the experience any less meaningful or 'spiritual'?

Im actually glad someone sees the difference between religion and spirituality.....
Christ came to end religion, but for some reason people still hold on to that.....all we need to do is to take him as the Life giving Spirit and be one with Him...... man what a joy it is to be loved by Him...

That's one way of looking at it.
Another way is - imagine you lived in a culture where grownups believed in Santa and tiptoed around the Santa myth. Even the president talked about Santa. After a while you'd say pretty provoking things about Santa too.

I did exactly that, but I can't speak for anyone else. I begged for 31 years for some sort of sign, and I was very specific on just what I would accept as proof. When I gave it up and stopped searching, I received my answer.

Perhaps not so much of a cry for God as the rejection of organized religion, and look for deeper meanings than hell and damnation.
