Calm down man.
I am a white British lad who believes that the suicide bombers and other terrorists are bad people. They are not all Muslims, OK the majority are but not all.
You my friend are feeling victimised by certain people who slander the Muslim race.
We as a Nation do not hate you, as you as a person do not hate us.
People stereotype a Nation because they think you are only as good as your worst, which is not true.

In this Yahoo/Forum, all the Religions have had their share of hate . Dont mind that. For some, it is the only way of asking. Respond to questions with a cool mind, or, ignore a question if you are not cool on reading one. Here is a word for The Haters. They are loosing ground. The religions are growing. The secularism is dwindling. Clinton said that, quoting statistics. The 20th century was hoped as the era of the secular-minds. Invain. 21st century also appears to be a century of the Religious. Just look around. Hate if you would. The scenario shall remain challenging.. to the 'haters'.

I don´t hate anyone but I can explain why there is a lot of hatred & mistrust towards muslims.
The base of the problem is that Muslims expect the west to tolerate thier traditons and beliefs but muslims don´t appear to respect or tolerate the western countries traditions and beliefs.
A one way street.
When Muslims come to western countries they don´t adapt as a westerner would if he was to go to a muslim country. Mulsims expect these countries and thier people to be tolerant towards thier values and traditions but at the same time don´t tolerate the guest countries traditions like free speach to speak out towards things they don´t like, like the muslim viel for example.
If someone makes cartoons of Muhammed muslims go berserk and death threats are flying about, but the numerous cartoons drawn up by some muslim cartoonists against the jews and USA are NEVER mentioned. See link #1
Musims expect people to respect thier religion but a lot of Muslims render every none muslim an infidel.
In Bradford, England there are areas where a white women cannot go without a viel without getting abuse by muslims males, this is a FACT my sister lives there. This cannot be right!!
These are a few serious points which are the heart of the problem, and yes I know you can´t say all muslims are like that, but it would appear that the majority are.
I would like to add that the media plays a huge role in this problem, it appears that most media outlets are govenment controlled brainwashing tools to bring about anti muslim sentiment, basically making a mountian out of a mole hill.

I have some muslim friends and I like them if they are coherent. I don't hate muslims in general but I hate intollerant muslims, even when they don't realize that. Some people hate them because of ignorance, just as they hate anyone different. Some people instead hate them because of the frustrations brought up by the tollerance our Western society has for intollerant minorities. This includes the fact that Jesus can be offended by anyone in any manner whilst Muh......(sorry) can't even be mentioned, the fact that women are often (not always) treated as dogs but it's not admitted, the fact that if a muslim bombs us we can't even say it was a muslim as they start appearing on every newspaper complaining they are always the victims and the media is against them ( when actually most of the media are always stressing how law abiding they are), for the fact that in most cases they say they are against the bombing of innocents but....(there is always a but to justify the bombs), the fact that some of them are coming from poor countries and when they are welcomed by other non muslim countries that give them possibility to eat they concentrate on complaining that the cross offends them, and another million reasons. In conclusion I think that most muslims, instead of continuosly complaining and in some cases playing dirty tricks, should try to open their eyes properly, being honest to themselves and the others. In this way they are making the situation worse for everyone, as the tension building in Europe could be potentially very dangerous. I hope it is clear that I am not trying to preach any hate but merely trying to express my opinion. But I guess someone will still call me a fascist. Why?

I have no personal vendetta against any muslims or Islam itself. The moral actions of a handful of people DOES NOT represent the whole of Islam and people are stupid if they think that. A lot of my friends are muslims.
My only slight worry is the 'family honours' tradition and fear that if I ask a muslim girl out, I'll get beaten up by her brothers, cousins etc. I mean, no offence, but it seems a bit old fashioned but even my friends say that. I don't like to criticise because I'm not racist.

Friend, I am an American, First let me get to the point, I remember 9/11, Plus all the other bombing done by muslims, But do I classify them all in that condition, NO, But why do all Muslims hate all Americans. You all want to come over here to live but not abide by our Country laws rather Local, State, Or Federal laws, Each county has it's own laws, Each state has it's own laws, & the Federal Government has it's laws. These laws does not make you or us a slave. What do you actully think of our country, We told you all that we can send a missle into your front door at 200 miles away. If you live in the USA, Live it by the law. I have never mis-treated anyone one from another country. And I never will unless they try to harm my family, & I am prepared for that.

Hi, am buddhist and don't hate anybody. It is only ignorant racist unenlightened individuals who hate others for reasons such as race colour or creed. I can think of many reasons to dislike someone but its based on the other persons actions/attitude to others etc. Just wanted you to know that the world isn't only populated by bigots!! Trouble is some of the swines here get kicks out of upsetting everyone else. May allah go with you.

Well, maybe it's because a lot of people don't know any muslims first hand, so the main associations they have with muslims and islam is with what we hear on the news! (suicide missions, car bombs, embassy attacks, etc).
I used to have a very different attitude towards muslims than I do now, since I got to know a muslim girl at my college.

No. It's because they are all brainwashed. They should first of all think of themselves as people who regard everybody else as equals. They also have an inferiority complex and think everybody else cares about their religion. I don't go around worrying what other people think of my religion - I just get on with my life. But many Muslims are brainwashed into believing a lot of peasant gobblydegook from childhood and do not have the brains or bottle to break free and become proper people.

I don't hate Muslims, but I don't really like fanatics of any type, be they Muslim, Christian, Scientologist, or whatever. The only real problem I have is with fundamentalist countries that aren't willing to be reasonable. A lot of what we are exposed to in the media are picture of Muslims acting crazy, shouting for the death of their neighbors and such...that scares people. Many don't seem willing to negotiate.
In my personal life, most of the people I know who are Muslim have been from Albania, and they're fun loving and secular. They drive fast cars, have hot girlfriends, and like to have fun. Just normal people really. I really haven't been exposed to many orthodox Muslims, so all I see is what I see in the news- honor killings, beheadings, violent protests, "death to Israel, but treat us fairly", etc.
