If you went to a banquet or Dinner at your church, for example, a Christmas Dinner, and the featured speaker was 8 months pregnant, would it prevent you from receiving from her? Do you think her being pregnant would make any difference in how you recieved what she was saying? Do you think that her coming to speak that far along in pregnancy is good or innapropriate? Do you think she should have cancelled the speaking engagement when she found out she was pregnant or do you think her pregnancy shouldn't make any difference?
Thanks so much for your answers!

This time of year has a lot of holidays from various religions. Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, etc. Why can't we have an Atheist Day put on the calendar? I want to give presents and get days off in the name of nothing in particular.

Oh, gosh this is becoming ridiculous. I am not really interested in the New Age, but because the concepts are similar to my own religious beliefs, I felt the facts must prevail. Since I happen to have a nose for facts, I have looked up every shread of information I could find, and to this date I am still delerious. Could someone PLEASE tell me why the New Age movement existed in the first place! I am seeking the truth so as to keep it from becomign toxic. Again, why does the New Age exist in the first place? If you do not know, do not bother to answer. Besides, I would rather read The Lord of the Rings (trilogy) than study this spiritual garbage. What is this, the 1960's?

then why is it so easy to believe that Jesus died on A CROSS? Which was a symbol of an ancient god in Jerusalem named Tammuz.

ok ive been interested by how the church works. And before I start I don’t want anyone to get offended it’s only a question. What gives the father the right to do gods work? I watched the film the magdilin sisters and it mad me sick how the nuns treated all them girls. My question is: what gives anyone the right to say there in gods right hand? What gives them the right to listen to wons confession and say they are forgiven by him? This is only a question of interest.

First, you may have learned from science courses that energy can't be created or be destroyed, it can only be transferred from one place to another. Second, as most of us know, when one is asleep, time seems to pass very quickly. Once you fall asleep the next second when you wake up, many hours have passed. In extreme cases, when one is in a coma, a person may experience a lifetime in a matter of hours from the time the person become unconscious to when he/she awakes decades later. In theory, I think in religious term "a soul" or "conscious" is pure energy. It cannot be created or destroyed, but transferred from one place to another. When we die, the energy migrates from our body to another place until it reaches a lifeform where we establish conscious again. This migration may take years, decades, or even millions of years, but to the eye of the beholder, it's a matter of seconds.....feel free to comment.

What are their gods?

What do they believe about the afterlife?

What are their magickal beliefs?

And ANY information you have. I know that it is a resurection of the old Pagan beliefs in Scandanavia. Thats about it. I need help from you to fill the gaps.
