The "catholics, baptists, presbyterians, protestants, charismatics," Man, there's just too many to list.

Personally, I think those who are truly Christian will call themselves that.

One of the goals of Christianity is to be united into ONE BODY of beleivers, so if you call yourself a "DIVISION" of Christianity, aren't you DIVIDING the Body of Christ?

Like abortion, divorce, war, church discipline, lending and borrowing money, etc.? Doesn't God want the church to be united? Doesn't God want individual Christians to know how they should live?

I have heard that it is not possible to fully comprehend or appreciate a *translation* of the Quran.

If you have read it in Arabic and another language, what is your opinion?

I celebrate Christmas so when I go to stores or wherever I enjoy the whole Christmas spirit, but I've wondered how that makes people with other customs feel. Does it bother you or do you just not care?

I ask this because a professor I had in college taught a class on Middle East History. One of his requirements for that class was reading the Qur'an, because in his view, if you are going to study the Middle East, you must see it through their eyes. And one way of doing that is to study their religion. He said that one time when he was teaching this class, five students withdrew from the class when finding out about this assignment.

Would any of you have done this? And why?

Isn't it blasphemous to call the Bible "God's Word," when it libels him so?

Islam is a nationality. CAIR itself illustrates the point perfectly. As opposed to "Council of Muslim Americans" or "Council on Muslim American relations" we have a name that announces the two separate entities, that being "American-Islamic relations". Notice that? Its not "Islamic American", instead its the dichotomy of "American v. Islamic".

Furthermore, consider CAIR's description of itself - "Promotes a positive image of Islam and Muslims in America and presents an Islamic perspective on issues of public importance." http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=cair&fr=yfp-t-501&toggle=1&cop=mss&ei=UTF-8

"Muslims in America" as opposed to "American Muslims". Other Islamic groups demonstrate the same separatness of nationality in their name, for example "Nation of Islam". How clear is that?

Well as far as my belife goes it says that premarital sex is a sin. Correct? Well and we are to ask forgiveness for these sins. I was a christian. But not following in my faith completely when during the time in my life that I became pregnant with my angels.

Well ok my question is this; I don't regret having premarital sex, because if I was to regret it. Then I would regret having my little angels. What do you think is the best way to look at this issue?

News Flash... God Doesn't Care If Your Catholic

I don't think that it's bad to be Catholic. In fact I'm sure there are some better Christians than I who are. But I sure don't see anything Christ-like in the Catholic church of today.

Where is the humility?
Why worship Mary?
Saints... Says who?

I find it all confusing.

In many places, the Quran says that bring up one Surah (Chapter) similar to that of chapter. Many people here claim that they can make up a religion. No problem. So why don't they take arabic courses and accept the challange of the Quran????

Christ was born to Joseph and Mary as they were traveling to Josephs hometown for a Roman Census ordered by Rome.

That census was ordered by Emperor Augustus in March of 6 A.D. I have talked to a great many people who learned this basic fact in seminary school as they studied to become preachers, pastors, ministers, whatever...

Why is this hidden and not revealed to the world?

Bonus for anyone who knows who WAS born on December 25th, especially if they can tell me WHY this person was somehow important to Christianity
