Please forgive me of my ignorance.

I would like someone to shed light on what is "Old Catholic" which is in schism with the Latin Rite RCC due to their disagreement with Vatican I and definition of Papal Infallibility and my understanding is that one of the reasons that the Eastern Orthodox (is EO in schism???) that one of the reasons that there hasn't been a unification with Rome is the dispute of the infallibilty issue.

I realize I'm in error somewhere here and would appreciate any insightful, thoughful answers.

God Bless

I have noticed that many elements of Catholicism contradict the teachings of the Bible, for example:

the idol worship
the worship of Mary
the affluence of the Vatican
the imposed celibacy of priests
rosary beads
the sexual abuse of children

I have a friend....we get along but he's suggesting that I go to his church and convert to his faith...I don't want to because I feel quite happy with mine and I feel most comfortable with it....he points out the flaws in other faiths and points out why his is the best..I do not agree, but I don't want to insult him....whats the best way to make him realize that I am gonna stay the way I am?

If you must know I'm Muslim my friend is Christian.....and I'm not gonna convert because Islam is the one for me, so please don't try, I already looked into Christianity in the past

My 92 year old aunt just passed away, bequeating 100% of her monies to two well-known television evangelists.

I don't have any need for her money, but I think it would have been better used if it went to the poor, hungry, etc., rather than to a "church" that can afford to buy up several 60 minute blocks of network airtime each week.

So my question is, are these tele-evangelists going to hell as they deserve, or do they get to go to heaven also?

The reason i don't, one is besause when God created man he said man was very good, not just good. Then he blessed them, blessed in the bible means to hallow or cosecrate pure no defects and that was in the beginning Then in Romans he said he gave them over to there lust and carnal mind Romans 1:1-31 thats why i don't believe it because God would be a liar from the begining. Please give me a your comments and be honest.

Is it because they are afraid that other fanatic Muslims will kill them? Or they are just loyal to their religion?

Eze 18:21 ¶ But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

Eze 18:22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.

Eze 18:23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: [and] not that he should return from his ways, and live?

People, how easy would it be for a Muslims to make me look like a fool right now. They could easily just respond here or in my previous question with:

"hey jerk! you islam-ophobe. Yes, I am Muslim and I definetly think slavery is wrong. See! Idiot"

Wow. I have no control over YA. Any Muslims anywhere in the world can answer, as they do with everything else. They answer my questions almost all the time, do they not. Look at my list. So thats not the issue.

NON-MUSLIMS: Explain why Muslims, who otherwise answer questions, will not make a statement condemning slavery? Could it be that my claim is true? That Islam holds every act of Muhammad as the path to heaven that all humans should follow? That because Muhammad owned slaves, owning slaves is excellent conduct and not wrong?

A famous pundit asked this question, and I think it's appropriate

You christians want to prevent gay couples from getting married, sharing health insurance, and visiting rights.
You want to condemn them to hell.

But many of you stop short of denying them the right to drive? Why?
Shouldn't you persecute sinners to the max? Why stop at marriage?
