I absolutley do not believe that people are born gay. God would not create a person to be naturally gay. It is a choice whether it be from a head issue or whatever else. Oh, and you can google evolution too, that doesn't make it truthful.

No it is a lie. This concept is one more lie to choke the life out of people. It defends wickedness. It is a lousy excuse, because someone says I am only doing what I was born to do. It calls God a lier and says he is responsible for their actions. It teaches young people who may have any inclination to think about doing this wrong thing that they really have no choice so they should just give in and "be themselves" This is absolutely ridiculous.
99.9999% of the entire human population has to struggle with thoughts of having sex outside of marriage at some point in their lives which is clearly condemned in the Bible. Why would people excuse those acting out ungodly lusts by saying it is the way they are born. The fact is if more people in this country would not give in to temptation to lust period, there would be no excusing this sin which is completely unnatural. Sleeping with as many people as possible of the same sex tends to lead to the other I have seen in other peoples lives.
Embracing this idea will ultimately lead to many more younger and younger people falling prey to this totally destructive behavior. This indeed is the truth. Talking to teachers today or a visit to Yahoo Answers confirms this. Culture has changed greaviously in America in the past ten years alone. When will people stand up against what they know will destroy. Young people need to hear a strong voice against this today or this lie will help destroy their life.

well when god said that men was good, he said it before sthey inned. But about people being born gay? If you watch gay people (no offense) they have a distinct way of walking (specially guys) who mimic (without notising) the way women walk, but never have I seen a boy do that, I guess its just influenses or just personal preferences as to which sex to like better, maybe from a bad past experiences or maybe neglect, I dont know im putting my foot in my mouth already. its a hard consept, why dont you create a survey and use it towards your project. Ask questions, go around the plaza and ask them to fill it out (some will and some wont) it can be three questions and annonimous. tell them ur doing a personal research and such. Good luck with that.

I don't know if a person is "born gay" or not, but I seriously doubt it. I do know that we are all born with a nature that leans toward sin...and I do know that Jesus is able to help anyone who will bring their sin honestly before Him and repent to overcome that sin.
It may take a lifetime, but Jesus is able to sanctify and purify even the most disgusting of sinners.
Look what He did with Saul, the killer of Christians....who became Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles!

I believe some people can be homosexual as a result of their environment. However, I also believe that some people are born that way. I don't view homosexuality as a disease, but look at it like this: There are some incurable diseases that you can be born with, and others that can come later.
KelA, you can google God as well, that doesn't make him real either.

also google religious tolerance to see how the bible has been translated and words changed to fit a specific view. Of course who would want to be hated, oppressed, or killed for being a certain way. But, sometimes a person just has to be himself to be happy in life.

I don't think it matters one way or another. People may be born with feelings of same gender attraction, but that still leaves them with the choice of whether or not to act on those feelings.

No one is born gay. Being gay is a matter of who you sleep with. I could sleep with a woman tonight but I CHOOSE not to. Same as a homosexual CHOOSES to sleep with someone of the same sex. Some say its who they are attracted to but I see alot of attractive females, and attractive kids but that doesn't mean that I have to sleep with them.
