If Jesus says to love those who pursecute you, does this mean that Christians should love the Islamic extremist who wish death upon them?

I know a story about a Jew terrorist, who was the great enemy of the church and tried to kill everyone who believed in Jesus the Christ.
Did Jesus refuse Him? No, He loves him, he appeared to Him and this Jew believed in Him as the Christ.
and i think u know the rest of the story, its written in Paul's letters to the Churches.
Saul the servant of the real God.

Yes, Christians are called to love our enemies and our friends because they ones that hate us and persecute us are the ones that really need our prayers. This doesn't mean that we should love their way of life and actions though.

No. Jesus is talking about early converts that are following Him being persecuted by the Jews-He is not talking about Mohammedans who murder innocent people.

Remember context-or you will put water in your gas tank.
