Ok... I am going to put this out in the religious enviorment this time. I am interested in the non religious theory of how plant life developed on Earth. I haven't been given a suitable answer yet. I am interested in this for various reasons. You may too if you think about it.

When you can't find the centre of anything you can assume that it has no begining and end ... and so the same applies for existance. It was always there and it will always be there.
The living depending on their deeds(karmas) are re-born in various forms of life (including plants, animals, humans etc).
The body is finite and the soul is infinite, indestructable and eternal.

God created the heavens and earth in seven days. I'm not

sure which day the plants came about - it may have been the

day after God said, "Let there be light, and there was light."

How can people NOT believe in God???? God created the

garden of Eden; in it was every good fruit bearing tree. God

said Adam and Eve may eat of any of the lovely trees fruits, but

they had to be greedy and eat from the one they were forbidden

to eat from!!!! How stupid was that!!!!!! Then they knew they

were naked; before that they didn't even know!!!!
