Many pagan religions and the catholics teach that when we die we either go to heaven or hell. This is not what the Bible teaches: the Bible teaches that Christ has come once, this is the first advents of Christ. It teaches the He will come again, this is the second advent of Christ. It also teaches that After a thousand years Christ, the Saints, and the New Jerusalem will return to this earth, this is the third advent of Christ. This is the time that all of the wicked will be raised and sentenced to be destroyed. Their bodies will be destroyed, their breath of life, that God gave them, will be destroyed, their works in this earth will be destroyed, and the very memory of them will be destroyed, and there will be no hope of a resurrection, because not even God will remember them or their works. This is the eternal separation from God.

No, eternal death, the second death, the lake of fire, non-existence.

Hell is just temporary separation from God and is eventually done away with.

Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

I know there are a hundred preachers teaching fallacy.

Doing more harm than good, because people think it"s eternal torture or burning.

Hello answer buddy!!

I will try to answer this great question...Please read it (-:

Eternal separation from God is a form of eternal living, (part of what we are can not die this is our soul) it is also known as eternal death, which means one is in a state of continual dying, yet unable to totally die.

Almost like, being SO Thirsty to have a drink of water that your dying of thirst, yet no matter how long it takes, it never ends as there is no water and your soul will never totally die, so it just perpetuates. What a helpless feeling

We would be like a stagnant well of water never fully evaporating and never going anywhere, just getting moldy and stale

"But the gift of God is life, and life more abundantly"

Jesus Christ says
"If you knew the gift of God... you would have asked him and he would have given you living water"

This is referring to spiritual life, water that doest necessarily quench the stomach, but our heart and our soul.

"Everyone who drinks this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks the water i give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water i give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." (John ch 4)

God made us 'in his image', part of this image is the ability to not be annihilated. Although our Body will die, our soul Cannot and will not.

God made it that way, similar to himself. (Genesis)

Though eternal separation from God is a separation from the source of all life and light and everything that is considered good, it does not mean that the persons existence will be snuffed out.

Yes we will still exists, think, and be consciously 'alive' whether in heaven or hell, But if we are connected to God and "in him", we will have eternal life at its maximum, which is newness, light, and hope.

"For 'in him' we live and move and have our being"

Thank you for the thought provoking question friend

You are not logical because you even question the delusions of religion. I tell you this: Stop asking why religion is what it is, and join me in saying that religion is a waste of time. Even answering this question is going against my best judgement, but I felt the need to try and save you from the bullshit answers you will get by questioning these fools. Join the movement and maybe if we just ignore these people they will grow frustrated when they see how much fun we are having and how pointless their faith is. Don't get caught up on religion comrade.

In heaven, eternal life is a state of continual renewal without end.
The buring bush that Moses saw is a picture of this. It burned, yet was not consumed.

Hell, on the other hand, will be an eternal state of suffering and decay without end where "their worm does not die, and the fire is never quenched".

You've erred!

It's either eternal life in God's kingdom- OR eternal death!

There's no such thing as living eternally in hell (fire).
