A psychic is someone that attempts to read the future. Typically using some kind of device such as a crystal ball, tarot cards, or iching coins for instance. Some will 'channel spirits', other will talk directly to a deceased loved one for you. Most psychics do this semi-professionally and can make a decent living out of it if they are good at what they do.

A witch is someone that follows an old belief mis-named 'Wicca'.
Witches are Indo-European in nature and most witches today choose to follow a bland of Celtic and European mysticism called 'New Age' by some. For them it is not fun, or a money-making proposition but an honest way of life that brings them spiritual fulfillment.

a witch uses spells .. usually nature based potions and words , to affect an outcome ... generally used for the good of mankind and not for anything bad (despite what people may think ) and yes there may be some witches who also are developed psychics but that isnt always so

a psychic uses their intuition and develops this to such an extent that they can tune into anothers feelings , thoughts , emotions , etc ( in the aura )
they do not do spells and are very different from a witch ... but the same applies as above ... this does not mean you dont have psychic witches

for the record ( due to some answers given )
many psychics do not charge ( many of my friends and i dont ) but some do and i see nothing wrong with that if they need an income and wish to work each day giving a service ...
a psychic cant see the future although they may get a glimpse of it based on events surrounding ... but to prevent anything would be taking away free will ... which we do not do for ethical and LEGAL reasons ... we do not predict

Many witches are somewhat psychic. Some psychics are witches. Witches have a religious component behind what they do. Psychics generally do what they do under a blanket "spititualism" without specifically attached relgious associations.

A psychic can foresee future events but do nothing to prevent them. A witch has the ability to perform actions, but not the knowledge to know what impact these actions make on the future.

Same thing - different labels.

I believe we are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense.

1.witch-a person who practices witchcraft
2.usually calls spirits to do things
3.learns to be a witch *
4.witches generally excist but there r always people who r fake
5.they call spirits,problem..You never know if a spirit is good or not. even ''white'' magic, is interfering in the free will that God gave us..
example; my boyfriend is taking drugs. i love him so i go to a witch to spell him so not taking drugs anymore.. despite i have good intensions, i interfere to the free will God gave him, so there is no such thing as good witch..or spell
