I have a question for my athiest brothers and sisters out there.

Why is it that conservatives and christians tend to have a MUCH higher population of bigots than athiests and liberals?

and sinful human race to write down and spread his word? In other words, why didn't he use his awesome power to write and create the bible himself, like he supposedly did with the 10 Commandments? Couldn't he see the potential for problems with this?

If I have offended anyone with my previous question, now removed. I know I can be a hypocrite at sometimes, but sometimes I say things the wrong way and people get mad at me. I really am sorry, to all of the atheists who I have disappointed, if you can forgive me. It was wrong of me. It is just I hold my religion in high esteem because it has never let me down, and I am sorry if religion has let you atheists down. I really just want to get along with all peoples, of all cultures and beliefs. I think you guys should get along, too.

You would have to say all physical laws are accidental. You would have to disregard the Laws of Thermaldynamics; the Information Theory would have to be incorrect; biogenesis would be incorrectly supplanted by abiogenesis. So, how can evolution still be true when science disproves it?

Personally, I have done a lot of research about Islam. I am completely upset by what I have found (I have been reading the Koran and the recently set out to learn more about Islam. I had no agenda at the time except to broaden my knowledge on the subject. What I have learned sickened me. I had previously been accepting of the notion that Islam was a peaceful religion and that the Muslim terrorists who inflict so much pain and death around the world represented a fringe element outside of mainstream Islam. I was wrong.

I would like to do what I can to stand up for what I believe in, but I do not find any group that is against Islam, but not against Arabs, or people of African hertiage. I have no problem with race, but religion.

I don't understand why some of you don't believe on God? I mean if it wasn't for him he wouldn't be here. Don't say.. Your mamma made ya. The first person was God. He has a special gift. He created the world, and us. Do you get it?


Why is it so hard to believe in God? I am not trying to change your religion but Why Don't you believe in God? It's not like out of no where the world created? Think for a second or more... If you don't believe in God.. Think.... NOW! Why don't you believe in God? If you don't believe in God do you still celebrate Christmas for the fun of it? For the people who believe in God.. You can answer why you believe in god too!


So my question is... Why don't you believe in God?

i'm a christian and have been all my life, but for some reason i can't convince myself that i'm going to heaven for sure if i drop dead right now. i'm 70-30% sure but there's always that doubt. in the bible it says "your salvation can never taken from you" no matter what. however, it also says that "anyone who adds or takes away from the bible, his name shall be taken from the book of life", meaning your name in the entrance to heaven. please take this seriously, 'cause i know i am. i went to a church camp and asked the same question, they couldn't give me an answer. in fact, i started on the main pastor and when i finished asking, he looked to his fellow pastors who were sitting in the corner and asked them "if they could answer it." ..this makes me worry...

In the bible, the writings of acts and the latter are filled with accounts of miracles and healings. Do you believe that God does this still today? If not why don't you believe this and is there any bible verses to back you up.

I KNOW not all Christians are like this. I know hardly anyone is like -this-...but this is what turns some people away from religion.
