i'm a christian and have been all my life, but for some reason i can't convince myself that i'm going to heaven for sure if i drop dead right now. i'm 70-30% sure but there's always that doubt. in the bible it says "your salvation can never taken from you" no matter what. however, it also says that "anyone who adds or takes away from the bible, his name shall be taken from the book of life", meaning your name in the entrance to heaven. please take this seriously, 'cause i know i am. i went to a church camp and asked the same question, they couldn't give me an answer. in fact, i started on the main pastor and when i finished asking, he looked to his fellow pastors who were sitting in the corner and asked them "if they could answer it." ..this makes me worry...

The reason so many people have a problem answering this question is because they haven't been paying very good attention.
Let me put it to you in a way that even a child can understand. Don't take offense please, I am merely trying to illustrate the FACT that we aren't paying very good attention and the answer has been here all along. It has been given to us by many messengers all along....THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS DEATH!
Ok, there is a process like birth, that happens when we drop our physical body here in the realm of the relative...to go to the realm of the absolute, but WE NEVER DIE!!! LIFE IS EVER LASTING. And we do NOT go through this process alone. WE CANNOT. GOD is there every step of the way. There is nothing you have to do to get to heaven. There is NO ROAD THAT WON'T LEAD YOU HOME. NO MATTER WHAT, GOD LOVES YOU!!! LISTEN AGAIN....NO MATTER WHAT!!!! GOD LOVES YOU!!!
YOU ARE HIS BELOVED!!! Life is ever-lasting, you cannot die, you just change form. All roads home lead you to Heavan, and No matter WHAT, NO MATTER WHAT, GOD LOVES HIS BELOVED....YOU!!!

There were 100 prophecies in the Old Testament about Jesus dying on a cross. We know that happened. There were 300 prophecies of the second coming of Christ. That tells me it is a for sure thing. You can know, without a doubt. If your pastor can not tell you how I would suggest you find another Church. Satan want's you to be filled with doubt. God is the only one that can give you the peace that you are longing for.

There is certainly life after this life. It has a different purpose and takes on different qualities. We know this by the evidence left us from those who have died before. If you strive to live a good life, are kind to all others and forsake evil you have no problem.

well if u do not know 100% that u are goin to heaven then u might not really be saved. i am a Christian and i am 100% percent sure that if i died right now i would go to heaven.

It's perfectly normal to worry about your own mortality. But- that's no reason to believe ludicrous stories of places like heaven and hell. Sadly- we're all going to die. So- live life full and well while you have the chance.

i thought about it and i came to the conclusion that there is no heaven no hell no god and no satan
this is my opinion and i am not trying to force it on you
but what i think what you should do is devote some time to just sit down and think with no outside influences or anything pushing you to an answer
clear your mind of everything that you were ever taught about religion or science and see what conclusion you draw about afterlife, then you will know for sure what you want to believe, you will be 100% positive about what is true

just an FYI: that verse that states whoever adds to or takes away from the bible, was written lonnnng before the bible was ever compiled.

Yes but not to the point of forgetting that we have to live this life too,some people are so Heavenly bound in their talk that they are of little earthly use at times.
