All the time throughout the Gospels. Especially by the Pharisees for healing on Sabbath days and he was crucified for blasphemy--claiming to be the Son of God.
So you can say that he was unjustly punished (murdered) for this. The Pharisees also abused several people healed by Jesus.

"But Jesus kept silent. And the high priest said to Him, "I adjure you by the living God, that you tell us whether You are the Christ (Messiah), the Son of God." Jesus said to him "You have said it yourself; nevertheless I tell you hereafter you shall see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven." Then the high priest tore his robes saying,"HE HAS BLASPHEMED! What further need do we have of witnesses? Behold you have now heard the BLASPHEMY; what do you think?" They answered and said "He is deserving of death" (Matthew 26:63-66)
Who was unjustly punished for it? He Himself.

Off the top of my head John 8:58 Jesus says,"Before Abraham was ,I AM." The Jews picked up stones to throw because He made Himself equal to God.Jesus meant that He was the "I AM THAT I AM" of Exodus 3.That it was He that talked to Moses.
The man born blind was excommunicated from the Synagouge,so he was punished somewhat.

People often attempted to stone him and he was eventually crucified for a man without sin it would be the only penalty I could imagine they were accusing him of.The laws of heresy called for excomunication and taught that the offender would be sentenced to eternal damnation but not the death penalty.

Jesus was accused of heresy plenty of times. Honestly, do you think that anyone going around claiming to be the Son of God wouldn't be accused of heresy? That's the primary reason He was crucified.

Of course.Sorry, but yes by the Jews and not Pontius Pilate. You can thank Herod for beating up our savior. Some even called him the devil outright. The sacrifice had to come to pass one way or another.
Jesus Christ did nothing but love and heal, and they killed him for it.

yes, the pharisees thought that jesus claiming to be gods son was blasphemy.
however i think this was their excuse for getting jesus in trouble, as he was preaching against the synogogues, teaching that they are corrupt and money hungry. which in turn angered those in the synogogues and feared people would listen to him.
