It's never been clinically proven in a double blind laboratory setting, but that means next to nothing to people who eat sugar substitutes that plainly read "causes cancer in laboratory animals."
The masses are the most gullible, superstitious, "willing to believe anything" group there is. And thank goodness, or how would we smart ones be able to trick them outta their money with psychic hoaxes?

Yes, we are all born with these talents to varying degrees, where we see images or have feelings of things to come. It is possible to develop these skills through meditation and other "spiritual" exercises. The difficult part however, is that, without experience, we do not understand how to interpret the images or feelings we have. The premonitions can be very specific or just a general feeling, depending on the skill level of that particular person.
A true and powerful psychic understands that they cannot use their skills for self gain, such as the Psychic hot-line or lotteries. Others will not reveal their skills for fear of being hunted as witches of demon worshipers. But there are a lot of less skilled people out there telling you rubbish and trying to scam a quick buck.
And yes, some people can sense or communicate with spirits or see images from your mind. This is just my personal opinion based on my life observations and experiences.

No, I do not believe that people can be "psychic". By the terms that you've said here.
I do believe that it is possible for people to know the future and know the thoughts of others, through the Holy Spirit. People who know the future are called prophets and there have been many prophets throughout time. But the purpose of prophets is to testify of Jesus Christ and give messages from Him to the world. True prophets never accept money from people to prophesy to their advantage.
Therefore, a psychic, a person who does this for money, is not a true prophet. And therefore, their information is useless.
I think that many people who claim to be psychic are actually just good listeners who can tell you what you want to hear. And the other ones are deceived or deluded.

Yes. I believe we are all psychic to some extent, but the majority of us subconsciously do not want to be... and consciously don't want to be, if we think about it. There's nothing too weird about it, really - it's just a matter of sensing things not clearly experienced through our five senses. Most of us "psychic" people have only glimpses. If there were true psychics who see everything clearly, there would be Powerball winners every time.

Sometimes people attribute "psychic power" to information that everyone gets from the environment around them. Gut feelings, intuitive feelings and the like are often legitimatly gained from cues around us. In a healthy person, these senses can be trusted.
But caution must always be used when someone presents themselves as having "magic."

i dont just believe it .. i know it to be true
i see spirit and often do psychic and spirit readings
many people that i know and work with do the same
some are amazingly accurate that even i sit in amazement
i have trained under some wonderful teachers who have been working with spirit for 30-40 years
i have studied this at university also on a course looking at things from a more skeptical point of view but one that also encourages you to allow for the paranormal if no other opinion can be found...
it is run by scientists who started off skeptical and now believe in spirit and the paranormal through their investigations

Technically, I have to use th eword "sensitive," "extrasensory" or "intuitive" to describe what you call "a psychic." Since the word comes from "psyche," meaning "mind," I believe the phenomeon is based upon extreme concentration fo all parts of the brain. I have "psychic" pwoers, but I would rather use them for common purposes. And no, I will not tell you of your future, for I will advise you to change it. Depending on t he person, I would not want anyone to be psychic or that will mean invading the privacy of others.

no. people can sense the mood of other people around them by their body language and generally tell the kind of person a person is by how they carry themselves (walking, standing straight, etc). i dont believe a person can sense any thing spirit related (ghosts, premonitions, and other things) they just dont exist. at least thats what i believe. there are only people who can take a good educated guess on gullible people.
again my opinion

I believe we are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense.

Yes, only because it's happened to me a few times. I don't think I'm psychic but I've had dreams that came true before.
The craziest one was the night before I was to begin a new job as a waitress and I had a dream about a group of 10 fat Italian looking men that came into the restaurant. They sat down, ordered a lot of food, a waitress said they were friends with the owner, a few said their names, and a few asked me some personal questions. I wrote the dream down when I woke up.
I went to work later that night and a group of 10 fat Italian looking men came into the restaurant,. They sat down, ordered l lot of food, the other waitress told me they were friends with the owner, a few of them said their names and they were the same as in my dream, and they started asking me personal questions.
There were way more details involved that came true and I had it all written down BEFORE it happened.
Another dream I had, I was standing by my bedroom window putting away my laundry and I heard sirens from fire engines. They got louder and louder and finally they parked right in front of my building. I heard people yelling that there was a fire. I wrote the dream down when I woke up. THE NEXT DAY, I was standing by my window folding laundry and putting it away. I heard sirens coming closer to my building and they were getting louder and louder (at this point I started to freak out because I was thinking about my dream) I started to hear people on the street yelling that there was a fire. The fire engines stopped in front of my building because the building across the street was on fire.

yeah i get that strong gut instinct all the time ! What is it ?
I don't know but I guess it's a sixth sense that we need for survival or guardian angels protecting us. Sometimes I think that the only way I was able to know the future is because it already happened and I'm living in the past.. my head's all confused now! Aaaaaaah !
