I know they should not force you, and if you dont want to listen thats fine, its your choice. But you have to see it from the believer's point of view. They believe if you continue in your present state you will burn in hell, if you saw a car heading for the edge of a cliff would you not try and warn the driver?

Right, first off, I'm not trying to offend anyone here. Lots of bad things appear to happen on a daily basis. My question is, is God all-powerful and just doesn't care, or is he actually not all-powerful, and therefore not able to protect people from bad things?

By getting too caught up in telling people what is right and what is wrong the Christian churches of today are creating more of a divide than a unification. Churches are making the religion too complex when it's really simple. And how did George W. win the Christian vote? I guess since he mentions God in his statements it gives him the right to kill thousand's of Iraqis and put thousand of US troops in danger. Wake up Christians!!!! What's worse than a Atheist, how about a President that claims he's a Christ follower just to get your vote and then gives the thumbs up to create mass murder. The bible says to forgive not kill.

My wife works in retail, specifically womens clothing. A great deal of her customers are Christian women who come in looking for clothing to wear to church. A large number of these women demand to know whether or not someone else from their church has purchased the same outfit, and one even went so far as to curse my wife for not knowing who every member of her church was. Is this indicative of people using church for social benefit, or something else?

I have nothin against religion everyone has their opnion. It seems to me that the bible was made to strike fear into the people and to make money. If u looked earlier in time religion was the most powerful thing, priests had the most power. It jus seems weird that the bible changes and they have so many versions of it.

When I was young it seems more people went to church and had more of a spriritual base, but it seems latley that many do not go to church anymore and they view God as someone "out there" God seems to be more of an option than a priority. Why dont some people feel the need to seek Him Serve HIm and have a realtionship with the Lord? What is your view on this?

Really great? I really love it because there is such a diversity of people and beliefs on here. Where else could you ask Muslims about what they believe or atheists why they don't believe in God or Christians why they do? You don't just go up to people in your life and ask them things about religion but here you can ask anyone anything and get so many different answers. I don't even care if some of them are rude because I learn so much. Anyone else feel the same or does anyone hate this religious forum? If so why?
