In the Bible, it says nothing about a red comet. If you're talking about something in the End Times,(after the rapture) then there are some comets and meteors mentioned. But if you become a Christian before the Rapture happens, then you won't have to worry about it. So, until millions of people become missing all at the same time, you don't really have to worry about it.

I have no clue as to if the comet is a hoax or not.

What I can tell you, is that there will be many things that scare us in our lives here on earth.

We can choose to let that fear rule us, or we can choose to take control of our fears.

For fear to rule us, we need do nothing, just continue on the path that you are on. For us to take control of our fears, we must rely on the one that created us, for we can do nothing on our own.

Even once you become a believer, there will be things that still scare you, the difference is that you now have the peace of mind that no matter what happens, you are a child of God and all will work for our best interests in the end.

Relax. We're always on "red alert" when it comes to comets and asteroids. There is no more chance that we will have an impact in the next 6 years than there will be in the next 600 or 6000, or 600,000.

The earth won't be hit to the extent to eliminate life; if ever. Ecclesiastes says the Earth will endure forever. Since everything else I've seen God says comes true, I have confidence that now that he's established the earth "Even to be inhabited" (Isaiah 40), that he can protect it.

Regarding the end of this system or "Age of this world?" That's a different matter.

"Concerning the day and the hour, neither the angels in heaven knows, nor the Son, but only the Father" - Matthew 24:36 So we have no idea when, only to be watchful, and that it may "seem" to delay (Habbakuk 2:2,3)

Remember, Revelation 1:1 states that everything that is presented in that book is in "Signs". It's as if God is drawing symbolic pictures for things that represent something else, and many times it says: "such and such means a king, who will do such and such", or refers to other parts of the Bible.

Revelation teaches that that the end of human rulerships (Daniel 2:44), making the way for God's Kingdom on earth, will be fought by God, not by any human or comet.

""In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever." - Daniel 2:44

"And they gathered them together to the place which in Hebrew is called Har-Magedon." - Revelation 16:16

Gods war:

"And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS." - Revelation 19:11-16

after which, the Kingdom effects it's rule over the earth:

"He will destroy in this mountain the surface of the covering that covers all peoples, and the veil that is spread over all nations.

He has swallowed up death forever! The Lord Yahweh will wipe away tears from off all faces. He will take the reproach of his people away from off all the earth, for Yahweh has spoken it." - Isaiah 25:7,8 (Mountains usually represent kingdoms and rulerships - See Daniel)

"And no resident will say, "I am sick"; The people who dwell there will be forgiven their iniquity." - Isaiah 33:24

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever." - Revelation 21:3,4

Don't sweat it. Armageddon means good news for True Christians, not bad news.

Are you sure?
is the Web site you went to a accurate one?
I mean if it's not on Nasa or the news you probably shouldn't worry about it much
There's a bunch of crap out there.

I don't know what you are hoping to find in the bible about this comet. But if you were a Christian you wouldn't be so afraid of these kinds of events. Everything is in God plan and timing. When things seem out of control to us, remember to God they are not.

maybe we are surrounded by them all over our solar system-as far as predictions go - I think we have to wait it out..P.S. The bible in a mythical work so there is no useful info that you might be looking into--remember Faith is Great --being a sheep in the herd and following a mythical tail is horrible---PEACE :)
