short answer? NO
long answer? that's like having a preacher going from cell to cell in a prison! People who are working cannot just up and walk away from the customer or client etc. they are, for all intensive purposes, trapped having to listen to something they probably don't want to hear.
That's the same reason a lot of states have passed laws saying you can't panhandle (beg) from people in a line, they cannot reasonably be expected to step out of line to be rid of the beggar.

No one should try to convert anybody, people should only give them information so they make a choice.
[002.256] There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in Tâghût and believes in Allâh, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allâh is All-Hearer, All-Knower.
(V.2:256) The word Tâghût covers a wide range of meanings: It means anything worshipped other than the Real God (Allâh), i.e. all the false deities. It may be satan, devils, idols, stones, sun, stars, angels, human beings, who were falsely worshipped and taken as Tâghût. Likewise saints, graves, rulers and leaders are falsely worshipped and wrongly followed but the one who does not accept to be worshipped, will not be considered as a Tâghût. Sometimes Tâghût means a false judge who gives a false judgement (See V.4:60). [See Tafsir Ibn Kathir; and (V.4:51)].

I don't think so. As a Chrsitian we are supposed to try to tell everyone about Jesus-but we are not supposed to drive them away from Him.
There may be a better time than during the holiday rush. There may even be a better way than you may be thinking. There was a guy who witnessed to me about 16 years ago- I never knew he had witnessed to me, I thought we were just having a casual conversation. After I was saved a couple of years later it came to me that the guy was planting seed of faith. He was so good at it, i did not know it-how smooth is that? Thats the way I work now-stealth.

I had a shoe saleman try to convert me to his religion when I went into the store to buy a pair of shoes. I didn't buy anything and I complained to his supervisor. I have nothing against his faith, but this is totally inappropriate.
