When I was young it seems more people went to church and had more of a spriritual base, but it seems latley that many do not go to church anymore and they view God as someone "out there" God seems to be more of an option than a priority. Why dont some people feel the need to seek Him Serve HIm and have a realtionship with the Lord? What is your view on this?

Because God showered us an unconditional love. He gives man his own freewill to choose. He made so many miracles to show to mankind how powerful He can be just for the man to believe but because of man's stubborn nature they chose to disobey...but God let them realize how wickedness and stubborness can ruin their lives. He still forgive men and sent so many messengers through His chose Ones...His disciples and His angels. But man still has this freedom.. an option to run their lives as far as they can be rather than obeying God's will. God's best creation is man but man doesn't recognize or appreciate it.

The cycle of the revelative religion is like the cycle of the year with spring, summer, autumn, winter.
We are now at the early spring of the Baha'i Cycle, and many religious people have not waken up from the winter of the Adamic Cycle, that is how they are still cold with the belief in God.

Many people view God as a burden and a hypocrite. Many people see the news regarding the church protecting child molesters with in the church. Many people are constantly bombarded by door-to-door sales men selling salvation and scripture. In short, God has been given a lot of bad press.
" You will know them by their fruits ".
He was referring to false prophets, but could that apply to a religion as well? Shouldn't a good church yield good preachers? Wouldn't a good church look inward on its self to remove corruption before hunting it in the world?
" Remove the plank from your own eye, before you tell your brother to remove the splinter from his "
We as a people are a race of fault finders. If the Church wants people to take God seriously, then maybe they should too.

God and church have become a center for hate mongering and self righteous hypocrites that have discouraged kind and gentle people from seeking faith for fear of association with these the
true sinners

why do people treat god as reality and not as a fantasy?
can you prove that god exists? No you can't it is a question of belief.
When people realize that there is no proof then they give up on thier false beliefs and stop wasting thier time on them. AKA they grow up and start acting like an adult rather than a child.
You need to look at your life and religion objectively and I have faith in you that you will grow up too as you seem like a bright and intellectual person.

Everyone is on their own journey and will come to God when they are ready. Don't condemn them, they need to experience the lows of life to know the highs.

I know a few people who claim to believe in God but do not serve him vehemently. I do not believe in God but it seems to me if someone truly did they would do all in their power to serve him.

Because there is no actual evidence for god. As people have got smarter as science has showed us the real truth as proven by facts not faith people have realized god is down there with unicorns and pixies as something to believe in. Say no to jesus
