People are fed the information and regurgitate the information to others. They also believe they are special and thus are the people of God out to save everyone from "evil". Islam is doing the same thing but in a bi-polar way.Islam claims they know what God whats- Jihad and they believe they met him. I believe Christianity is just like Islam in beliefs. What do you think of Islam-false? Think about your beliefs!

Because we have met Him.Truth about God to a Christian is a very intimate, personal experience; and unless you, too decide to trust Jesus, all the debate in the world won't convince you. By the same token, it won't dissuade the true Christian of their very real God.

Because when you admire someone (like a celebrity or something) you read everything you can, follow his/her career and kind of get an idea as to what that person could be like before even meeting him/her and have hope of someday getting to talk to that person. The same way, christians try to get close to God.

Because they ACTUALLY THINK that a book written by a group of middle-aged men 275 years after Jesus' death was dictated to them by God himself. They ACTUALLY BELIEVE IT!! I know, I know, no one can be that credulous, but they do. Trust me.
